TN Commit David Oku

Being a horse and playing for sub-par schools is not a very good idea. Say a player goes to TCU has four 1k yard seasons, he gets to manage the local Walgreens for 40-50 years. How many have come to UT and done the same, haha you see my point. Our boys got play for millions on Sunday. You know what your getting when a boy runs for 1k+ on our schedule.

I get what you're trying to say but that was about the worst damn example you could have used. LaDainian Tomlinson much?

Heck even Appy State has a NFL guy every once and a while, but statistically speaking NFL wants kids from a more stringent scedule. Look at the numbers LT had to have from TCU led the NCAA twice in yards rushing. I'm not saying its impossible, just less probable.:zeitung_lesen:

Just use CSU or Ohio next time.

Just using Pro Football Reference, there have been 163 schools and/or international areas that have placed only one player in the NFL in the history of their schools.

There are interestingly enough 3 pro football Hall-of-Famers in that list.

Johnny McNally (Wisconsin-River Falls)
Arnie Herber (Regis University)
Night Train Lane (Western Nebraska Community College)

Just thought that was interesting after the whole TCU thing.

I want Oku...but Syracuse is not Ohio or CSU.

Cszonka(sp), Davis, Little, McNabb, Harrison, freeney, JIM BROWN!

Different schools, with much different history! It's a great University (academics and athletics).

It would make sense for him to sign today. All of the classes are pretty much complete. Auburn signed multiple RB's, and Cuse was never really a serious contender IMO. He saw that our class turned out to be pretty good and we never signed some of the rumored RB recruits. Also, I don't think he was really planning to take any more visits therefore there is really no reason to wait much longer.

Good to see someone else having respect for my man JB.

Is it just me or do you guys find it strange that Oku decommits, and now we are in line for a shot at B. Brown.
