TN Commit David Oku

if the NCAA allowed Donovan McNabb to return to Syracuse, he couldn't even lead them to a conference championship in 2009.

they are awful. look at their recruiting class. no one wants to play there.

they have 11 commitments---one unranked player, three 3*'s, and seven 2*'s

this thread............aaaaarggggggggghhhhhhhh

Two things have crossed my mind right now. Syracuse is cold. Colder than here...and it's cold here. What a dynamic job by super slick stan dayton to get this guy to think twice. Also, has anyone noticed how much oku likes the color orange? Tn. Okst. Syracuse.

I'm extremely tired...in any circumstance...I see no direct quotes and he is still commited here. Believe none of what you hear, half of what you see situation.

Now think about if we got some high rated RB to visit us this late and he had been committed to a bigger and better fooball school (USCw). I know that we would be excited but we would also be saying he is a USC lock, or he is the longgest of long shots. Thats what this is. I'm not worried. He just gave a pitty visit. He's comming to Knoxville.

Here you go, doubters. It was said. I didn't say he would go there! It is why I put a question mark! I said he was considering it!!!

Meanwhile, running back David Oku of Oklahoma City, Okla., visited Syracuse and now says his commitment to the Vols is in question. Former Vols assistant coach Stan Drayton is recruiting Oku for Syracuse.

Mike Edwards, who is a four-star prospect ranked No. 21 at his position. He chose Tennessee over offers

My bad Vol Nation on copying and pasting entire articles. This is better. Here you go.

He's pissed because of our recruitment of Hardy and Brown!

Well, Oku can get over it. If, he doesn't like competition. He need not come to UT. Hardesty and Creer will give him all the competition he wants and then some!

Maybe he is considering Syracuse. Because he thinks he can go up there and start immediately with little effort. If, that is his thinking. Let him go to Syracuse and play for a terrible team!

We will land OKU in the end because Brown is a long shot and Hardy is a different style back from OKU. He is just making certain right now.

I just wonder how much Drayton is dragging Kiffin's name through the mud? I'm sure he is giving Oku an ear full of negative things on Kiffin.

Is this kid really EVER gonna make up his mind?
I hope he makes faster decisions when it pertains to which hole in the line is open.

But in all fairness it's a serious decision, one that requires a lot of thought. I can't blame him for weighing his options, BUT if he wasn't sure then he shouldn't have committed.
