TN Commit David Oku

This is an act by Oku just to throw people off. He's probably upset that it got leaked out so he wants to make it interesting.

I think he will be a vol too. Why would he let some know it all, red head loser steal his thunder. I wish they would fire the whole KNS staff. That paper is a real joke. The radio show everyday is even worse.

This kid hates the recruiting process but yet he has changed his committment date half a dozen times, been leaning each way and the other constantly, and is adding teams to his list out of nowhere. If you hate the phone calls and all the attention, make up your mind and quit adding new teams like Louisville and now Clemson (Rivals yesterday).

As indecisive as he may be, I still hope he puts on the Power T in 6 days.

He is just adding some suspense to the whole thing....And he told KNS what he wanted to get out..and they bought it..Too many people think he is a VOL for it not to be true..ANd this isn't just the TN faithful that I am talking about.

Did he visit FSU last weekend as scheduled?
If he wasn't impressed with his UofL visit, and he isn't leaning towards FSU after he did/did not visit them, then it would be odd for him to cancel scheduled visits to UT and Nebraska to commit somewhere else. Unless he really liked FSU, it makes sense that his decision is either UT or Nebraska. With our scheduled visit coming just a few days after his announcement, I think we are in very good shape unless we find out that he is no longer coming for the UT-UF game.

He's probably having a hard time because he is trying to get his commitment in as soon as his dad gets home from Iraq, so he doesn't have to worry about the recruiting process before his dad goes back.

Nebraska fans have been saying forever that they like their chances. I just don't see how it could be good for them considering he hasn't visited them and multiple sources have said he's a Vol.

So you think his govols comment is a smokescreen?

Hooker wrote the article, so take that for what it is worth.

He was probably trying to find out Oku's favorite color and trying to pin some nickname on him that he can take credit for.

Don't forget there have been more than a couple of players recently that have had their minds made up on a school all along and let others show them around and massage their ego's only to pull a rabbit out of their hat and throw everyone off. More or less just teasing everyone.

That being said, i don't know what to make of it.

I heard Giles was trying to help recruit Oku as they want to be on the feild at the same time. That was according to rivals radio this morning. So I think we wouldn't have to worry about Giles going anywhere if Oku does infact commit to Tennessee.

Man, I really hope we get this guy.

so the scout title suggests that it definitely isn't UT, but its the same old article from yesterday where he downplays UT. is that a dumb title or does scout know for sure he isn't coming?

i would love to have this kid, but this stuff is kind of immature. i could really see him decommitting wherever he ends up committing because it doesn't sound like he really knows where he wants to go.

you have only visited 2 schools and if it isn't UT then you would think it would be Louisville. I read an article where he said "while i was at the UL/UK game, my friends kept texting me saying that I could start at UL right now." but surely he wouldn't choose that crap hole. i am going to be pissed if we don't land him.
