TN Commit David Oku

yes he ran for 6 td's and caught another. His performance was soo good, the AJC made a top 10 all time HS football performance list and his 7 TD made him #10. FYI A Herschel Walker performance was #7

I have a buddy that goes to school with him. Says he is unstoppable, and now, based on last week's performance, I believe him.

Big news on the Oku front!

He has decided to announce September 17 after only taking an official to Louisville. Don't really think Louisville is in the picture though. He will choose between Louisville, Tennessee, Michigan and Nebraska. He has been to UT for an unofficial. I do think he will choose UT. Not sure that he has even been to Nebraska.

the post count is true, for some reason if you have a low post count people ignore you. Volball come to the Pub to get that post count up.

:crossfingers:

I get on here, I just don't post much. I'm a big recruiting guy so that's why I mostly post in here. I'd rather not bicker with idiots on whether Fulmer should be here or not. Waste of time. Anyways, back to Oku. I think this is pretty much perfect timing for us in regards to Oku's decision.

Pretty much why I haven't posted much since UCLA.

I have my opinion of Fulmer, but I would rather keep to myslef to avoid getting ridiculed by the respective Fulmerites and Fulmer haters.

volball deserves all the props, he is an asset to this board.
as far as Oku, there are silent rumblings that sound good for Tennessee

God I hope so. I know I've said it before, but Oku is probably the guy I want the most. This 2009 class could be one hella backfield with Giles and the two FB's. Hopefully Oku will sweet talk Marlon Brown while they are here, and then we can focus on D Lineman.

We will know in one week.

Is he definitely still visiting? If so, it seems that we would be getting him, unless he just wants to keep up the suspense. I doubt he would commit somewhere else and still visit us just two days later.
