I would love to keep Oku but I believe that Creer has all sec potential. Im just not sure we got an o-line that can block.

In one respect Oku did bring alot of this on himself. He is the one who chose to open up his recruitment and take those two visits the last two weekends of the recruiting season. What does he expect the coaches to do? UT is trying to hold him and remind him what made him pick UT; and the others are trying to convince him that the reason he took the visits was that he wasnt sold on UT and that they are the holy grail for him.
Nobody made him open up his recruitment. He did it. So David Oku if you cant stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Either he wants to be a Vol or not. Pretty simple. If I were Lane Kiffin, I wouldnt hold a scolly past wednesday.

He is quoted on VolQuest saying " I am not committed to anyone anymore."

And he said all the coaches (from all schools) are just making it worse. He wants time to think...

No decision will be made on Wednesday he said at this point.

Oku will sort it out. He'll be a Vol. And when he commits, he'll put his all into winning championships.

Just cold feet before the wedding. It's no big deal.

We are not going to get this guy, but I don't think I am really that upset. After reading the article on volquest, he sounds like he has ISSUES.

I would certainly question his maturity.

But then again a lot of people questioned mine when I was 18..

I just talked to a buddy of mine on facebook who is currently a grad student at UTK. He was telling me that there are alot of grumblings on campus from current players about the way that Kiffin is treating not only the current players but recruits as well. Basically he says Lane Kiffin is not well liked and even hated by most of the current players. Some have said that he comes across as an arrogant jerk to the recruits (they laugh and talk bad about him when he isn't around). Aparently most of the other coaches have been well received, but LK has some work to do to win over this team.

You lost all credibility when you mentioned facebook. Do yourself a favor, don't believe everything you hear.
