TN a likely win for SC

Have you been living under a rock? I have SC down as a loss for us. I think UT will be lucky to win 5 games this year.

UT may not be worthwhile, but to get on board with the Cocks counting wins in the Summer is laughable. Not to mention, the Cocks counted us a guaranteed win last year. Didn't work out so well for 'em. Don't buy their hype.

I understand the game being a toss up rather than a it win, sine tn is down. But to put it down as a probable cock win shows thier inflated image of thier program.

What's new. Like you, I live in the state with them. I hear the Cocks on the radio saying that USCe "passed" Tennessee's program years ago. Listening to the Coots is pure entertainment.

In 2008, South Carolina STOMPED Tennessee 27-6.
In 2009, Tennessee STOMPED South Carolina 31-13.

With all of the transition at UT, and with USC fielding (on paper) their best team since 2005, and with the game being played at SC, it's easy to see why USC is being picked to beat UT right now.

I can't wait till CSS finaly retires, who do you think they will try to hire? Who would go there after Holtz and CSS both failed there?

Well since the game is at USC, I could see how they would consider it a win. But that plays into our hands. IMO we should WANT teams to count us out. CDD will have to play the underdog card alot this season.

I agree, I would rather them come to play us thinking we are a probable win.

Then we will give them the same thing they got last year, a spankin.

I have hard time believing this game is a probable win for SC. It certainly possible. After all its Possible for Vandy to beat Florida . Not likely but still possible.

I really hope they don't make a bowl, so they see how misguided their false hope is. Maybe they will just disband their program after CSS leaves.

Garcia's not that good. With a little pressure, he'll fold like a cheap table.

Garcia continues to get love from ESPN and the CSS folks, but in reality he's very mediocre. He was awful against UConn in the bowl game and while his numbers were good vs. Tennessee last year, they were empty yards for the most part, late in the game.

Every year, the pundits want to make USCe a pre-season contender in the East . . . and by October 1, they are out of it.
