I'm 26, and I've never experienced a tougher loss. I think it will be quite some time before I feel this bad after a loss.
But it's time to move on.
Can't change the outcome now. Point the fingers all you want. That's fine, it makes us all feel better.
But if we convert on 4th and 1, stop them on 4th and 14, etc. etc. then we don't have to worry about having 13 on the field or whether or not the player should be penalized for throwing his helmet or whatever.
It's over.
Move on. Support the team.
Our team gave their all today for Tennessee. We should commend them for that, and hope they can recover to compete in the rest of the schedule.
Hey, it wasn't like we were national championship contenders this year anyways. A potential 7-5 or 6-6 season just dropped to 6-6 or 5-7.
All I'm trying to say is things could be a lot worse. We're all very blessed to be living in a country where this is probably the worst thing we've "experienced" (if you can even call it that) in a long time. You could be a Chilean miner that is still stuck underground. Instead, if you're like me, you're grabbing the closest alcohol and trying to forget the game.
Man up, support the team, let's beat Georgia.
GBO.
