I'm 26, and I've never experienced a tougher loss. I think it will be quite some time before I feel this bad after a loss.

But it's time to move on.

Can't change the outcome now. Point the fingers all you want. That's fine, it makes us all feel better.

But if we convert on 4th and 1, stop them on 4th and 14, etc. etc. then we don't have to worry about having 13 on the field or whether or not the player should be penalized for throwing his helmet or whatever.

It's over.

Move on. Support the team.

Our team gave their all today for Tennessee. We should commend them for that, and hope they can recover to compete in the rest of the schedule.

Hey, it wasn't like we were national championship contenders this year anyways. A potential 7-5 or 6-6 season just dropped to 6-6 or 5-7.

All I'm trying to say is things could be a lot worse. We're all very blessed to be living in a country where this is probably the worst thing we've "experienced" (if you can even call it that) in a long time. You could be a Chilean miner that is still stuck underground. Instead, if you're like me, you're grabbing the closest alcohol and trying to forget the game.

Man up, support the team, let's beat Georgia.

GBO.

It's hard to just "move on" less than an hour after the worst loss in recent memory.

Why is our worst loss? We took the #10 team to the wire. LSU will get no love in the polls for beating us on a penalty call on the last play of the game. We'll get em' next year in Knoxville . . . a year older, a year wiser.

Oh I dunno...LSU is one of the 10 worst offenses in the FBS and we did everything possible to lose that game?

we are a young team, getting better. We beat GA then win em all in Nov and get to a decent bowl....ok with me this year

i honestly don't care about georgia, sure i want us to win, but the alabama is our only big game left now that gives us a chance at an upset as usc will not be ranked by the time we get to them.

And probably the best defense in the FBS. They are the #10 team in the country. Move on. Georgia is next Saturday. No reason to whine. No reason to sulk.

Yeah, we clearly didn't have the game wrapped up

OBVIOUSLY, we didn't have the game wrapped up. Like Les Miles said after the game "welcome to the SEC." You gotta play the first and last play of the game just like you play every down in between. The only way we wrap a game up is when the cock strikes zero and the refs actually declare the game over. Be as bitter as you want, but your bitterness will not change the outcome of the game.

Did I say the outcome will change because I'm pissed? That doesn't change the fact that we shot ourselves in the damn foot on 4th and 14 and on that final possession

I don't think the Dennis Green video "They are who we thought they were, and we let 'em off the hook!" video has even been more prudent.

Bottom line is we lost, we should have won, we had them beat, but we still lost.

There's still 7 more regular season games left to play. Let's hope we win at least 4 of them and can get to a bowl.

But even if we don't, I'll support the team. GBO.

No I won't move on. That was our game. Idiots. I still have a broken bedroom door. Thinking about billing mike slime and his blind officials for it. Maybe dooyley and co should pay.

Wait a sec, we're idiots but you're the one who thinks Slive should pay for a door you stupidly broke? Yeah you nailed that one :good!:

I'm sorry but I can't move on just yet. I have followed this team through thick and thin and have for decades. But instead of 'oh, let's move on', how about some accountability.
Our guys played their hearts out today and gave it 110%. They're the ones who got the shaft. And it doesn't all come down to the last play. We had at least 4 poor decisions by our coaching staff that cost our kids the game:
1. - Lincoln should've kicked instead of Parlady - unless Lincoln was injured and I don't know it - he should've kicked seeing that he is 7 of 7 with a 49 yarder. Coaches' poor decision not to let him kick
2. - 4th down and less than a yard - two options - kick a FG or QB keeper - don't take a timeout and give LSU a chance to set up their Defense
3. - 4th and 14 for LSU - only rushed 3 and gave Lee too much time; our CB gave the receiver 4 yard cushion
4. - Substituting on the last play - with less than 10 seconds you keep your D on the field!
I'm calling out the coaching staff for this loss. If you guys don't do a better job of making good decisions, we'll end up 3-9 this year. Get it together!!! This loss just makes me sick. :ill_h4h:

maybe the fact that you're acting like a douche and breaking your bedroom door makes you the idiot.

My point is it doesn't matter if it makes you and I sick. It's over. It's done. It's in the books.

And Lincoln was out with leg injury incurred at the game before kickoff. That's why Palardy was out there.

This loss is completely on the coaching staff. Yes, there's a talent gap, but our play wasn't the reason we lost. It was poor decision making. Our guys played well beyond expectations and my hat is off to them! Tragedy when poor decision making by the coaching staff costs you a big upset over a team ranked in the top 10.

I agree. I was so sick after the game, but we weren't expected to even be in this game. Our players played their ass off and should be proud of their effort. As they said many times during the game, we traveled with a team that half of the players were on their first road game. We're young and still learning and growing as is our coaching staff with each game. The SEC is a different monster and we don't have the talent depth, but we will. Look at what we have done: pushed the Ducks around in the first half of the game, had FL rattled, and LSU on the ropes, so there is hope. Also, I also wish people would lay off of the "let's get a new coach" crap because that would CRUSH our program. We're going in the right direction, so why take steps back? Dooley has made mistakes, but he's gonna get us back, so chill.
