Who is the hardest hitter ever?

Dale Carter for his size was a huge hitter. felt no pain whatsoever.

Victor Brown was a killer on KOs. all he did was run down and blow up the wedge...

been a lot of hitters over the years. eddie brown from the 70s had no fear...

Timmy spot on. Amazing what comes out of the mouth of someone who knows what their talking about compared to some of the geniuses on this board.

Tim was right about just about everything. I like his point #10 ...

"he only sees 6 wins this year, but he expects us to contend for the SEC title in 2012 and to be in the NC hunt in 2013."

I really hope this will get all of the Dooley haters to calm down. It doesn't matter if you have ever strapped on the pads or not, if you do a fair analysis of the program when he took over, it would be painfully obvious we were not going to be contending for the conference championship, let alone a national championship. I don't know if recruits go on this site or not, but I'm guessing they might, and if they see all of this negativity about the coach and program, they may go elsewhere with the impression that Dooley will be gone after next season, and you can bet the farm other coaches recruiting these kids are using that as a deterent to UT getting them. Take a pill and chill. Fans can kill this program the same as NCAA violations. Another coaching change anytime in the next two-three years means a set back of probably another 3 years minimum. Tim was absolutely spot on with his assessment, so be patient and see what wonders can happen with a good support system.

Fair or not 3 years is plenty of time to judge a coach. More time isn't going to improve his abilities. Hart has made it clear that this is now Dooley's team and that the time for excuses is over.

Just because one may question Dooley's faculties, that doesn't make them a "Dooley hater".

Wow

If he's right about his 2012 and 2013 predictions it's going to be a lot of fun around here (would be nice for a change) :)

Tim wasn't the only one that had a pretty good bead on this team. I believe Luginbill predicted 5-7 and no bowl. Maybe Phil Steele too. Most of them echo Priest's prediction about 2012 also. I guess we'll see. With the luck Tennessee has had lately, they'll probably all be flat out wrong about next year. Maybe not, i hope not. It sucks pretty bad being bad.

I hope to be in the NC hunt in '13, but that likely won't be the case if Bray, Hunter, and/or Rogers turn pro next year.

Dead to rights....This is a set of predictions more forecasts that turn into a lot of facts and played out....Goes to show that a lot of negativity by others are ones that are not willing to patiently wait this out.....

Our defense will be far better than in 2012 though. I don't think an sec or nc hunt is on the horizon anytime soon though.

Bray is nowhere close to being pro mentally. Notice more qbs are staying for their senior season. The NFL is a qb league. That senior season helps you learn how to really run an offense. plus with new labor agreement rookie contacts are much smaller. He will be better served staying & improving his draft stock.

Rodgers needs to improve his blocking and focus to be a high level pick. He tries to get by on talent too much. That won't work in the NFL.

I think he hit the nail on the head. Priest was very consistent with his preseason analysis. The main thing I took from the list:

Brent Brewer would make a better OLB than a safety.

And he's the exact kind of player that UF & LSU would play at OLB too....

Other than vying for an SEC crown, what is Priest saying about next year (or do whe have to wait until August)?
