Exactly. When you watch this shameful display, you have to know that these guys aren't taught to play and try to tackle this way. This is just the level of player we have in Knoxville right now. 13 is Kamal Hadden. 22 is Jaylen McCollough. #24 is Aaron Beasley.
Little premature on that. If the defense looks the same next year i'd say i would have to agree at that point.
You probably defended Dooley, Butch, sunseri, and Pruitt. If you’re ok with what you’ve seen all year schematically then good for you but those of us with our heads not in the sand are not ok with it.
Well firing the guy does no good then.I hope there’s a train load of defensive talent heading to Knoxville, otherwise I’m afraid you’re going to be very disappointed.
Sad fact is our “defensive guru” head coach the previous 3 yrs bought a couple of LBs and that’s about it. He left a very thin & weak roster.
Yup. Banks deserves another year. But we really need to see much better stopping power next season. I don’t mind getting burned on the passing game sometimes, but that defense Thursday couldn’t have stopped a runny nose with a pallet of KleenexId like to see Banks have time to recruit his own players. The portal devastated TN in 2021. This is going to be extremely difficult because Banks was late on the 2022 class at UT. This fan base is not going to give a coordinator 3 years to turn the ship around and shouldn’t. He’s got to show improvement on the field in 2022.
It’s the opposite problem from the previous regime. A so called defensive expert had a horrible offense. Now we have a so called offensive expert with a horrible defense.
You've posted this more than once. I think I speak for 99% of us when I say shut the f*@k up.
This is predictable from someone like you.Seriously defense has been awful all year worst 3rd Dow defense I’ve ever seen he’s a slightly better Sal Sunseri. Purdue didn’t even have their best receiver today
