Well i have to disagree with Fleet on this one i like the game but must have dont know about that. After reading a few boards there are some club flaws in the game. Actually didnt read until playing with Fleet tonight and he tells me his SW goes 155 same as his 7 iron. 4 iron is 182 and sandy 155 holy hell. If your like Cat and your a graphics ho then yes its sweet. I have been playing this series since 99 and they havent done enough to make the game more demanding unless you go Tour Pro. Fleetwood enters his first tourny tonight and is already shooting 12 12 under in 2nd 3rd round wins first tourny. Guess what unless he goes onto Tour Pro he will never loose one. I played 3 rounds and my guy us a avg 8.3 golfer when he started he was 3.2 you shouldnt move that fast. This is without even having any attribute points with clothes or clubs. I will continue to play it just really disappointed in the end result. Overall i give it a 6.5 or 7.

One other thing there live daily tournaments you can play that tourny as many times as you want to get your best desired score come on ea is that a tourny. You can also use any golfer not just your created golfer. The only reason EA continues to recycle all these sports games is they have no comp. If someone could come out with these games then they wouldnt keep recycling ever franchise every yr. I know i am ranting about this game its probably not as bad as i am saying but just frustrated this is such a great series.

Fleet gets one win with jacked up clubs and comes in here talking chit go figure. He has 30 games in his collection and he is only good at one of them. So every time he beats me i have to hear about it for a month. Back to Smokeys topic i could see big John side challenge see if you can smoke whole pack of smokes before you finish front nine.
Also the dizzy challenge Big John Style, no spinning around with a bat 13 shot of Seagrams Seven and try and hit a drive 350 while whole screen is shaking.

i also must change my stance on the "must have", i got some kind of bearcat desease. after playing more last night there are some real inconsistancies with the shots, one time elevation and lie make a difference and the next time it doesn't. it is virtually the same game with new courses. if you've got '09 i wouldn't run out right now to get this one but if you've never played one or it's been a few years i would say definately give it a shot even if it's a rent first..

Good game. Looks nice. Not too much different from the older versions. Worth 60 bones.....no. Trade or rent. I think the longevity of this game will be decent.

i'll play it quite a bit i'm sure even if for no other reason other than i feel like i'm starting over with a new character. the longevity for me will be playing online with you guys again.

I played for 11 hours straight today. Hit the 100 Birdie mark, Won my first career tourney & had some back & forth games against Bigdaddy. It's my first Tiger game & I really enjoy it. Yeah, it is a bit easy, especially with put preview, power swing & spin but I just enjoy having something to play that doesn't make me want to fly 1500 miles to some 13 year olds house & choke him with his own hair covering one eye.

In short, I'll be playing this for awhile.

Got this game tonight, created my player and have no idea what to do next. I played an online game and the dude killed me, every hole he had an eagle. So ive come to the conclusion that i love the game but suck horribly at it. :rock::rock:

you'll be fine, just give it a day or two to get used to the controls and no problem. if it bothers you, you can switch the swing stick to the right one, that made a big difference for me.

I think it's incredible, and even though I hate golf, I love this game.

...My back and arms hurt...

I like it, its more customizable and therefore harder, on tour pro it's sweet. The gameplay is basically the same, control wise, but it's alot more fun IMO.

I'd like to see what everyne scores on the 'play the pros' mode today, I'm +4 through 6 and feeling good about it.

For those that have played this on the Wii, I have a question. Did they fix the putting or is it the same as '09?

I ask because after having an easy time on '08, the '09 version's putting was so screwed up, I gave my disk to my father in law.

bearcat, fleetwoood, and jonesey are cheaters. maybe it's the 20 or so beers i drank tonight, but i blame my loss on their affinity fr transvestites
