Tiffany's Thread (updates and prayers, and a place where she can smack Joe in public when he needs it :)

For those who didn't see my pub post, there was some sort of fighting on our hallway last night around 2 am. As we were leaving we were talking about what could've happened. It was a black man screaming and cussing, and Tiffany said it was probably that lady's husband we talked to yesterday who "loved her some hillbilly"🤣. She said he was probably looking for me 🤣
HAHA!!!!

Got the nurse stuff done. Now waiting until the Dr looks at her surgery records, and then comes in.

Okay, quick, but not in a bad way. First, for the first time in all this mess, I was impressed with a hospital/Drs. They're going to help, and said something has to be done, and we were in the right place. One of two different surgeries they think may be the answer. One would be moving the stoma, the other would be widening it, as in it's gotten too small. For anybody who doesn't know, the stoma is the hole in her stomach where she wears the bag. There's a specific Dr they have that they want to deal with this, but she's not here today. So instead of us having to stay here all day for testing, they're going to order the tests through her Dr in Georgia. That Dr will get those results, and they'll show which surgery would be needed. It's basically to check the flow from her kidneys, if it's backing up because of the spot, or if it's too narrow. That Dr will then do a virtual visit with her to discuss the results, and may want to see her physically before any surgery is done. They did say she may just go by tests, and the virtual visit, and schedule a procedure. This Dr is booked for even an appointment until almost summer, but because of how much trouble Tiffany is having, they said that she would definitely work her in for a virtual visit, and procedure asap. We're definitely coming back, just not sure if once, or twice, but they're going to shoot for once since we're so far away. I'm sincerely impressed with how they legitimately seemed to care, and want to get her helped. The Dr we saw seemed on a different level than the Drs we dealt with, even Atlanta Drs. I can't imagine how the Dr they're calling the expert is. We both appreciate you guys praying and asking about her, and for this trip. They said something has to be done, and I feel like they're going to try to help her. Love you guys.

This is so good to hear. I have been hoping you would be able to get in to such a prestigious clinic like this one.

And next time you are down here, I hope I get to meet you guys.

I can't really explain how impressed I was with the Dr we saw, even the nurse was impressive asking questions.

Yeah, there is a reason people try to get into places like the Cleveland and Mayo clinics. When I had to have some procedures, I was fortunate to have UCSF nearby, that is another great hospital.

We're actually in the middle of the everglades right now, and have a signal 🤣. I googled it, and it wasn't too much of a drive, so we did it. We're stopped at a service station with a deli getting lunch, I like it around here!
