put on eliquis by hospitalist after stroke
cardiologist that i began seeing afterward thought it was a mistake to prescribe eliquis. He put me on heart monitor and i've never shown any sign of afib. Hoping he'll take me off it when I have office in Oct. The COVID mess meant only televisits with nurse -- havent seen him face-to-face since initial procedure

Hopefully you can get off of it, I have afib, but they use a formula, so if you do not have high blood pressure and do not have diabetes, than you do not have to take anything. I forgot what they call
that formula but that is what my cardiologist goes by.

thanks, neurologist thinks i'd be fine / aspirin regimen
never had hint of diabtes
but lot of BVS
stayed off VN from kickoff until a few minutes ago

Figured I'd give an update since it's been a bit. The immune suppressant treatment has overall helped I think. She has had a rough few days, and they checked her blood, and are having to start iv treatment again. 4 weeks, because her white blood cell count was so high. She's also had a low fever for a couple of days, and extremely tired. Thankfully, this is the new infectious disease dr, and he's treating her, instead of waiting for her to get septic. Hopefully this guy can somehow figure out the cause. He's saying that it may just be her kidneys having to do so much, since she has no bladder. They hadn't really figured out the anemia, other than just her iron being really low, but her numbers have been better since the iron infusion. She's not been exactly great the last couple of months, but it's been much better than since last fall. Hopefully this iv treatment will get her back to feeling better.
