Have any of you addressed the issue this guy is posting about? He clearly asked about last year in how it was the hardest ticket of the year for whatever reason.
Yet you all appear to be dismissing this and just saying it should be easy when it was anything but easy last year.
If you want me honest opinion, i wouldn't chance it. If you can find a decent ticket for a reasonable price, i would jump on it. Last year it was the strangest thing ever. I didn't see a ticket for less than $75 bucks. And i know firsthand because by brother was looking for tickets and I was helping him.
It may have been because it was Dooley's first year, who knows, but regardless, there were 10 people looking to buy tickets for every 1 person selling. Therefore, the prices were ridiculous for a game like UT-Martin.
Anyways, good luck.
If you wait until right before the game you can get a ticket for $10 in front of the stadium. I've done it numerous times over the last few years. Auburn 2008, I got one for $5!
Amen. Some of these guys on here make it seems like rocket science or a nest-egg destroyer to get a ticket to a UT-Martin game, or in this case, Montana.
You obviously don't have clue what went on last year. If there were cheap tickets around for UT Martin the line at the ticket office wouldnt have went the length of the stadium & scalpers wouldn't have been getting $100 for a single.

You guys are hopeless. Seats went empty. If you paid $100 or bought from the box office, you were robbed. Don't shoot the messenger. Remedial negotiation skills must not be used very often in your line of work.

Two of the biggest games of the year last, Oregon and Florida, I bought tickets for less than $20 a piece. I guess I got "lucky" two weeks in a row. I should've gone to Vegas. Guess it just hurts someone's ego when they're told they got hosed and don't want to admit it. They'll chalk it up to someone else just getting lucky....Again, it's about patience. It's about having "walk-away" power and it's about confidence (knowing UT is playing FREAKING MONTANA for crying out loud and the fact that 102,037 people are not willing to pay face value to watch Tennessee play a mediocre opponent in this current economic environment. Pay your $70+. Obviously, I can't help you.
