Laughing at anybody that thinks it's KNS responsibilty to get people to attend a game.

They have kept this snarky jerk around for far too long. Before he was "reporting" on the Vols, the sportwriters we had at the Sentinel AND the old Knoxville Journal, along with other independent journalists, did more to build the program up collectively than you can imagine. Back when fans had a bit more intelligence than arrogance. And journalists realized that good reporting did not always mean their own self promotion.

Every month or so, KNS sends me an offer for a subscription. I don't care if they deliver it for free, as long as this POS is running their sports section, I refuse to accept it. The only reason it came here was for my late Father, who passed in August of 2019. Once he was gone? I have told them, No Thanks. As long as he is around? I prefer to save a few trees.

Laugh if you wish. I don't give a damn. No reason for me to laugh at you. You are nothing.

Nowhere in your rant did you indicate how his responsiblility was getting people to to attend football games, yet the only reason you stated you wanted to get rid of him was to get someone that would.

I have no issue with your opinion about a newspaper columnist or being nothing to you.

You, however, continue to make me laugh and I thank you for that. We all need more humor in our lives.

Hate it! Neyland was great before that crap, give me the The Pride of the Southland and the crowd noise. Yes I’m traditionalist and don’t care what others think.

While I’m very high on tradition, the live fans do need more than The Pride to get us through the multiple 3:30 minute breaks that TV games bring….multiple people being honored only covers so much time.
And BTW with the CJH offense The Pride can hardly keep up with all the Rocky Tops

They should have moved home coming to this past weekend. Georgia was a sellout regardless - just bad business practice.

It seemed like several schools had odd HC games this year.

This is pretty cool. I like the way they’re doing this. It gets the crowd fired up and into it. It’s beautiful. Nothing like a Saturday night there. Wow! I think we need more night games? GBO!

I only go to noon games.
