I feel ya. Poole breaking those long runs, man it was great. Oh well, it is what it is.

I could have made a couple of those missed tackles. I'm still confused at how players on scholarship could possibly miss those.

Losing Jones for this game was a big blow. He would have helped extend some of those drives in the 2nd half. Simms didn't have a go to guy.

This was a horrific 2nd half. But Dooley, he's gonna be great. Mark my words. This is gonna get us pumped, we are gonna be ready for those Gators. Oregon loss sucks, lets face it. But we're still got a shot at the SEC. USCjr looks very good indeed, the Gators have lucked out on turnovers, UGA is UGA, Kentucky is our *****, and Vandy is everyone's *****. LSU has a dumbass for a coach, and Bammer, Everyone wants payback on them.

I hear ya, but playing top-five caliber teams this early in the season is not a very reasonable measuring stick, especially considering the personnel the Vols presently put on the field. While the Vols had their legs under them and their head in the game, they actually competed with a very talented and experienced team. The way Poole shredded the Duck D in the first half was unbelievable. Trust me, hardcore Duck fans and the Duck coaching staff, while happy with the win, will look at that first half defensive performance and ask a lot of uncomfortable questions.

Soon as the legs went, reality set in.

If justin hunter had the attitude and drive of that guy he could have had 2 tds tonight even with a qb who floats balls and misses open wrs.

Lattimore has a competent QB in his offense, too. It has less to do with drive and more to do with the idiot throwing to him.

Sorry some of the mouthbreathers have poor reading comprehension....

We stayed disciplined on defense and tackled well until after the offense had made it clear that we had no shot at winning. We tackled well in the first half. In the second the defense was worn out and mentally lost focus but who can blame them with the way the offense was going 3 and out or putting points on the board for the other team....


Zack rogers dropping the third down ball with 3 minutes and something left in the first was a pivotal play. He makes that catch and it is probably 16 to 6 going into halftime, maybe 20 to 6.
