After reading it again, that is a fair statement. At least we will be better off than if Stephens was under center.

I read it as saying Simms will as good, or better, than Crompton. That won't happen.

Don't know much about him as far as his abilities but a far as his personality goes, let's just hope that he has turned the corner and matured.

I'm fine with him giving Bama and Florida the Johnny Cash salute.

He was doing better, I can agree with that but to say that the race was over is idiotic.

If any player takes to heart what is on this board, he has problems.

Not really. Some word has leaked out yesterday he was told by the coaches, as much so as they could say, that he surely was not going to start. In fact, he was not anticipated as the starter since before spring practice started; they started him as #1 out of fairness and respect for the leadership he showed during the Kiffin departure fiasco and beyond.

There was no chance NS was going to be the starter.

I like the confidence that he has shown so far, but it's still really to early to tell what he is going to be capable of doing for us.
