Thoughts on 2026 schedule?

Excited for it. Meaningful games. Only 2 cupcakes. We are in for some potentially great football games. Favorable with home schedule next year.
Let's go make history and announce our return to top tier with prejudice!

Hopefully we are improved next year because things could get ugly around here. We gotta have patience and understanding our schedule is harder now too regardless we need some big wins. Several

Texas= L I think Arch comes back and has a season everyone expected this year

Bama= L this could possibly be a ** loss if DeBoer leaves and a little off season chaos, they havent beat us in Neyland since 2020
@SCjr =W ** they've infused some great coach's with a team that started this year #11 & QB back & Columbia a tough venue

TA&M= L hard place to win at
LSU = W **
Vandy = W
So early off season picks almost meaningless, 3 L's and 3 asterisk wins so best 9 & 3 and worst 6 & 6 the QB qualifier/unknown makes this a very hard pick and a tough schedule.

Texas will be our toughest game until A&M. With Manning back and us with a first year QB (assuming Aguilar doesn't return), Texas will likely be favored in that game. Bama will also have a first year QB. You never know how those guys work out. AND, Bama may be looking for a HC next week.

Yeah, Sankey got suckered by ESPN and the Big10 on the ninth game. It’s going to make it that much harder to make the playoffs. Do away with the SECCG today.

As for no UGA and Florida, I’ve seen those movies too many times recently. I’ve been waiting to play Texas for years. I just hate their QB situation is currently much more stable.

NFL draft experts Todd Mcshay & Dane Brugler recommend Ty Simpson return for 2026, too much inconsistent play.
I think if he has a good to great playoff run he's gone. If Bama gets knocked out at Oklahoma he's back JMO.

One thing might be a little disappointing is that I’m willing to bet the mortgage that Texas will be a 3:30 game . LSU plays at Ole Miss that same day. No way that’s not primetime.
