It's only when it makes our team look bad. Vandy has won at Neyland 3 times in the last 50 years but those same people will say this isn't the same Vandy team and that we will lose to them this season.

SEC might get 5 teams this year. B1G get 3, OSU, Indiana, Oregon. ACC might get 2 if Virginia and Georgia Tech keeps winning, doubt it. Texas Tech has stumbled, not much else in the B12.

6-1 Vandy vs 6-1 Mizzou; 6-1 Ole Miss vs 6-1 OK, two teams get their 2nd loss next week. Undefeated aTm vs LSU, either an upset or LSU gets knocked out of playoffs. Texas may very well lose #3 at Miss St this week.

We win out I think we get a playoff spot.

That means tough Oklahoma and Vandy teams at Neyland and a really tough road trip to Gainesville.

But if we win out, I think we have the best 2 loss resume in football.

Looks a lot like UGA-Bama in the SECCG right now. Those teams are in; the other 2-3 SEC teams are in play.

We will be favored to win every one of our remaining games. We need to control what we need to control and let the rest play out. That quite honestly is true FOR all teams in the top 20 or so.

Other teams are going to lose - there are matchups between teams that ensure someone has to lose. Ole Miss and Missouri do not play each other but they play other SEC teams in the group of 0 and 1 loss teams.

With the way the committee chooses the teams. I don't see us making playoffs with a 10-2 record without all those above us having 3 losses. Regardless of what they say sos means nothing to the committee.

I hope that’s the case. OU’s front four or five is probably as good as Bama’s. It’s a good defense overall. Thankfully, their offense isn’t as good as Bama’s. I’m almost more concerned about Vandy.

This is exactly why the expanded playoffs will be a joke. Money, money money is the only reason. Destroying the game I loved. And also legal betting on college sports.
With horrific officiating who knows if money is involved.

Hate to impugn someone, but with the awful officiating across the board in the SEC, I can’t help but to think some refs have money on these games. They’re as human and fallible as anyone else.

Florida away is what it is. Maybe we break the streak of losing down there, but I’m not going to predict it.

OU and Vandy will both be tough games. If fully healthy Mateer will give us a lot of problems. Same with Pavia.
