UT 's side. As opposed to you Dooley lovers.
1-8 in the SEC doesn't scream to recruits that you are a winner. If you don't think the recent past matters to recruits, then you don't know anything about how recruiting works this day and age.
Again, I don't need lessons from you on how things work this day and age. If you think Turman or Green was thinking about not playing for UT last night because we lost the game, you show yourself to be clueless.
You mean playing behind a line that's built for pass protection?? Yeah, the recruits can't figure out what's going on. It's not like they play football or anything.

Different topic. Don't try to change it and act like you've been saying the same thing the whole time. Of course recruits look at pt, the offense, the scheme and how they would be used. They also saw an average sec rb get over 20 carries and be a shoe tackle away from big gains.
You said they would be swayed by a loss, as you would be. Well, you aren't wired like a recruit and football player, so your opinion of what you would do matters little. Again, that was your stance. You just brought up the OL in this discussion, and you do that kindof thing all the time. You get called out, then you change your story in middiscussion when it doesn't look good for you.
Dude, these recruits don't give a flip what happened last year. Some can't even tell you what happened last week.
You are getting your life mixed up with an 18 year old bmoc with a dozen offers that doesn't live each day worried about the Vols.
Dammit, I hate you for making me take eric's side, but it's not about losing just last night's game. Losing has become the UT culture and I absolutely think big time recruits look at that. I actually like Dooley as a person, but his coaching isn't getting it done. So the question is, at what point does keeping him do more or less for us than firing him. I don't know, but at some point, if it doesn't turn around, you cut your losses and try a new approach.
We will stiller 8 to 9 wins book it! Not ideal but there is still hope.. Neyland was incredible last night. It was a shame that we couldn't make the big catch or missed some assignments on D in the 3rd or 4th..we will be alright boys. gah it sucks but still Wewill find a way.. Go Vols!!
You would hope so, but we're talking about teenagers. Who understands the logic they use? Kids are crazy...
Michigan won the Big 10 last year, what does UT have to hang it's hat on from last year?? Very poor example.
