Idiotic, stupid reaction by the original OP without ever seeing CBJ work with our team and have a full year under his belt.
I've given Jones the benefit of the doubt up until now, but today I have to say it looks like he'll never get us back to the top of the SEC.
Auburn's staff already had a top 10 class to RETAIN... we had a class in the 40s that we had to IMPROVE. There's a big difference there.

Later fool!quit making excuses. This staff sucks and this team sucks even worse. Its funny how you will constantly predict top 10 classes and 10 win seasons year in and year out. But when we have sucked at recruiting for 5 years and had losing seasons for 5 years you wont admit we are terrible. Dont even get me started on our financial situation. we have a joke basketball coach and a big east staff leading a football program. HAve fun guys.
Yeah, I've seen how this dance goes. "Wait until he coaches his first game before you make an evaluation" then "Wait until the first season is over before you make an evaluation" then "Wait three years before you make an evaluation"...we've been down that road before and it doesn't end well. There's no reason to suspect that someone who fails at recruiting (and today was an utter failure when you look at what schools like Ole Miss, Auburn, and even Vanderbilt have done) will ever be able to succeed at a high level in the SEC.
Yep, you hire a mid major coach and then let him just bring over his mid major staff and give them big raises, you're probably going to end up with mid major talent.
There's really no excuse for this. You got out-recruited by Vanderbilt. You got your a$$ handed to you by Ole Miss. You've only had two months? Well so has Gus Malzahn and look at his class.
Penn State got the virtual death penalty and Bill O'Brien is still out-recruiting Butch Jones.

I don't care what the ranking was. You can always find an excuse if you want to. Doesn't change the fact that this class is near the bottom of the SEC.
