Maurer should be the guy going forward. I don't know if he will Brett better results. But, it can't be much worse. That was just ugly.

What about the out throw with a defender in his chest. Your post and thread knocking this kid after everything he has been through at UT is childish and ignorant.

But DWA slowed down and didn’t run through the route.....

Guaranturnover put the ball 5 yards ahead of him and 2 yards behind him. Kid is just awful.

Lol

That out route was nice. This missed throw took points off the board. Big difference

No difference. JG has more courage and has taken more hits that would have knocked QB's out of the game. He was one helluva QB in High school and competed against the best in HS. He simply has not had anyone to develop him at UT. You really think he arrived at UT and lost hus skill set? Come on!

Based off of what? New Jersey is not known for talented HS football, and his stats were pedestrian at best.

His rating was a sham as a the #1 Dual Threat QB.

I will be the first to agree that the revolving door at OC has not been helpful for him. With that said, at some point he should have transferred out and used his 1-2 years of eligibility to go play for an actual OC staff. I would argue that Larry Scott as OC set him back for his career more than anything.

With that said, its malpractice to keep trotting him out there when he is a liability to the offense since he is mobile and can't go thru his reads as he's in his 4th year.

His "duel threat" rating was supposed to be an asset.

I think you should watch the goal post view on the play he overthrew DWA. It's obvious that the offense has no confidence in him at this point. He doesn't have the confidence to complete easy throws to the tailback 6 yards away from him. It's not an ideal situation but I think 18 deserves a chance

Pruitt should start BM the rest of the season. You see so many other P5 programs playing young QBs and having team success. Unfortunately JG hasn't improved and he is what he is at this point.

Also, please stick with the same oline!!!! It's ridiculous to see all of these lineman being subbed in throughout the game. I thought the lineup of Morris, Smith, Kennedy, Wright, and Calbert played fairly well today.

Can he make the throws that need to be made? Yes. Does he throw into double and triple coverage? No. Does he need alot of development? Yes. Has he received it? No. BM looks l8ke he should not be on the field. What do you want me to say. JG is all we got right now.

I like this OL group as well. Did Morris and Calbert return to the game after injuries today?
