Regardless of where you are in a rebuild, there is no excuse for losing to Georgia State. The effort was better tonight, but Tennessee still lost to a very bad team at home.

Yaawwnnn. Good to be back! Missed y’all. First time posting in almost a year. Nothing’s changed. Deer in the headlights Pruitt sure popped the bed on this one,
Turn it over to Chaney and Tee.
This offense is just as bad as the defense. Atleast TooToo looked menacing and JJ had the team on his back. Probably 9-14 times WR we’re wide open and JJ checking to see if his shoes are tied.
Not mentally prepared, Oline needs another 3-7 years of solid recruiting to be elite. Development is there guys just got beat and wore out. D line got smoked early, where’s their stamina??? JG standing there running down the clock like a statue, show some grit!
7-5 was possible but 2-10 is likely. I hate it for the young men out there giving all they got but just need to inspire more to do the same every play!
These games should be party games not nail biters.

The worst thing we can do is to waste another 4 or 5 years hoping Pruitt somehow pulls off a miracle turnaround. Coaches that successfully rebuild teams in modern college football usually always show some big improvements in year 2. We should be getting incrementally better each week, not going backwards. Sometimes you can tell pretty quickly that a coach just isn’t going to work out, which is actually better because you don’t have to waste so many years with them.

5 years? Are you freaking kidding me? A kid comes in and redshirts, then plays his entire career in 5 years. What the hell? And 5 years might be accurate if were ever going to get back to contending for championships. But it should take a competent coaching staff 5 days to prepare to beat either team we’ve lost to this season so dar

Exactly this isn't rebuilding. This is disassembling. This is disassembling and tearing down the program Beyond repair. I'm starting to buy into the fact that this guy from Alabama is getting paid on the side from his old alma mater.

Nope. You made up that BS and said it not me. What I mean is you want to start over with a new coach again? That works every time for us right? We'll be whipping Bama in short order. We just need to throw money at somebody? Nick Saban going to come here and turn it around? Hahahaha!!! You want to start over again. Think about how dumb that would be.

BTW, Tonight Furman 42 Georgia State 48. Let's examine this shall we? Furman ( a known power house of NCAA football), while they lost tonight, we able to tack 42 points on Georgia State's butt, this is something UT under the command of CP was unable to do. What can we conclude from these facts? Furman has a better coach than UT? Furman has a better team than UT? Furman players play every play with 100% of their ability? Or is it just a fluke, you know a fluke such as UT getting our A** handed to us by GS and BYU????

I'm in agreement that it's a rebuild job.

But the rebuilding is to get competitive in the SECE.

It should not require rebuilding to beat Georgia State. It was already good enough to do that.

A rebuild is beating cupcakes and then ending losing streaks to Vandy. The only way to look at this isn't as a rebuild, they have entirely nuked the foundation, burned the trailer, and moved into a lean-to while hoping a new mansion will be built by a plumber.
