make you own sammiches, wash your own clothes, iron them, cook your own dinner, get up and get your own bottle of water/sweet tea/beer, go pick up your own dry cleaning, buy your own groceries, wake up in the middle of the night and take care of your sick children, remember your own parents, grandparents, childrens b'days/anniversarys and then we'll go from there.
i never said i asked for it, but it's appreciated and noted. i don't ask any man, besides my daddy, to do anything for me. i moved out of my parents house at 18, and w/the exception of extremely limited spending money because of my parents work situation at the time, and a car that was bought as a gift for my graduation from college, i've never asked anything of them monetarily.
you all, for some reason, got your panties in a wad over me noticing a guy to treating me like a lady. if i go to dinner with a male friend, i typically pay for at least my half of the bill, if not both of ours, no matter who had the idea of going. i don't expect anything from anyone, but i'll be honest, i think it's extremely rude for a healthy male to sit in a car while a female pumps gas. i also that a healthy male should offer to carry my shopping bags for me, or if we go out to dinner should offer to carry the leftover boxes.
it's common courtesy. i'll never apologize for expecting that from someone and don't shy away of giving it in return
