Popeye’s is advertising their fish sandwich again. Yesterday, after my doctor’s appointment, I’m hungry. I see a Popeye’s on the route home and opt for a rare indulgence in fast food. A fried fish sandwich sounded good. The Popeye’s has a big sign advertising their fish sandwich. I get into the queue for the drive-thru. When it’s my turn to order, the AI bot asks if I would like to try the fish sandwich. I replied yes. “Sorry, we don’t have that available today. Would you like to order something else?” Bad Popeye’s. Huge ad campaign advertising a limited offer item which isn’t stocked sufficiently in the restaurants. The silver lining, this saved me from indulging in fast food.
