I have only one credit card and it is only used for online purchases. It gets hacked every 6-12 months and it got hacked again today to the tune of $5,400. Thank goodness my bank/Visa catches the fraud and alerts me to it.

Washer and dryer both out of extended warranty....freakin plastic parts only last so long.....washin machine skips the spin cycle if it aint loaded just so....repairman has been out here over the yrs and said that model has a warped drum on all of em, but maybe they could prorate something...i said nah...well tonight the dryer stopped workin....so im triggert af mayud I had to buy a warsher n dryer....put a 3yr plan on em...gettin 3-5 yrs outta one amy more is about right....we got these in 2019

Front or top load?

A few years ago, we had a LG front-load. They're great for large items but they do not clean as good as a top-load imo. Anywho... that expensive LG lasted for 3 months past warranty. The tub bearing chit the bed and that was it.

I have a whirlpool front loader. As you said its great for comforters, bath rugs, towels, pillows etc. Sucks errthanges else. Kept waiting for it to crap out but wouldn't and still hasn't. 9 years. Put it in the workshop. Still works perfectly.

I should have never strayed from Whirlpool. Lesson learnt.

I can't say they're the best, but Ive had excellent experiences with their washers and dryers. They're a solid choice for sure.

We have an LG set that is a number of years old. Some minor parts replacement is all that’s been needed so far.

I just went with the standard top-loader with an agitator.....for a while, a lot of em didn't have agitators
