Things I'm mad about today

My nickledick neighbor now has a drone. He flew it right at one of our security cameras then turned and flew it back to his place. 45 seconds later he landed it right in front of my garage. It sat for about 5 seconds or so then took off back to his place. All of this after 10pm. Sheriff was not amused. 10 minutes after the law left, his dogs were over here attacking our cat. Cat managed to get up a tree while my wife went out screaming at the dogs. I told her she shouldn't have done that because I was coming around the other side of the house ready to put a couple holes in them. I am really tired of this clown. I am still up because of all this. I am certain he will be breaking in at some point. I will be needing a moderately competent attorney who understands that someone breaking into my house is not leaving under his own power nor without injuries that require an ambulance and emergency surgery. And an ambulance would take about 30 minutes to get here.
Never piss off a redhead, it will not go well for you.
If he breaks in, make sure he's dead. If he lives, you will be liable for something. Next time his drone lands on your property, grab it, turn it off and call the cops. Let the cops give it back to him. Mention the dogs while you are at it. Pretty sure if you are in any municipality, they have to be fenced or landed. Or just feed them poison steak.

It is against Federal law to shoot down a drone over your property. FAA considers drones to be aircraft and interfering with one will incur criminal and civil penalties.

If he breaks in he will have several holes in him. The drone is going to be a thorn in my side until I can figure out a way to stop it. It isn't the dogs fault that their owner lets them do whatever they want. I really don't want to exterminate them. I have toyed with the idea of trapping them and then taking them to the animal shelter, but the dpgs are typically over causing trouble after dark and before sunup. I did trap and relocate some feral cats, but dogs are a different story. It could happen though. Although technically not legal.

I am aware that the law is actually on his side when it comes to the drone, other than it being against the law to fly it over property you don't have permission to fly over. I am not a good enough shot to take it down while flying. I don't own a shotgun, which would be the best weapon for the job.The odds of me actually being able to get hold of it are slim to none. Drone jammers are illegal. That doesn't mean I won't buy and use one.

That seems to be the letter of the law in most places, but the judge dropped charges in that case that made national news about ten years ago. The homeowner shot down the drone, claiming the operator was pervin on his wife and daughter, and the homeowner faced charges for the reasons you gave. However, the charges were dropped.

Mt Juliet is putting in about 1500 new homes along Bender's Ferry in the next year. Much like Knoxville and other areas there is 0 infrastructure improvements being made. No schools, no roads and few utility upgrades. Predominantly blue state people fleeing the chitholes they created. This is happening all over the metro Nashville area. I predict TN will vote blue if not in the next federal election then in 32. One of the red bastions with no income tax will go the way of VA. From Moores Lane home today was nearly 3 hours. About 130 miles.
Tillman Place is coming on the South Side of MJ off Central Pike. Near I-40. It gonna be another whopper.
A lot of this is people leaving Nashville to Wilson County (Mt Juliet, Lebanon)

Where is that. It appears to be outside of the city. Very little of Benders Ferry Rd is in Mt Juliet. Typically, the developer will work with the local gov't to get Utilities and better roads to their development. Not long distances though. The biggest cost is usually sewer lines and pump stations.
Mt Juliet has a substantial Engineering Dept, and the things you mention are likely in the works. The new homes will bring in additional taxes.
But yeah, a lot of roads are getting crowded in Wilson County.

All 1200 homes will go on the city portion of Benders Ferry. MT Juliet annexed to the Yacht Club.

The only improvements they were required to make was to add the short run of sewer and utilities. No road improvement other than a center turn lane in front of the subs. Nothing at the intersection of 70 and Benders and no extension of the 4 lane from where it is now out to 109. Enough $$$ changed hands that the developers got out of nearly everything. This houses are dried in in 6 weeks. Cookie cutters.

Put it on down to the progress of man.
