Naw, just kidding. Been a rough go for my girl. 15 years at one school then covid hit. She got to teach from home for a year and decided to switch career paths and teach High school this year. Rough transition but we're making it. How you doing? The gator pocket book you doing there? Kitchen witch too?
I'm doing good, regardless of what you might read here. I've been lucky and haven't lost anyone close to me because of this mess and I haven't been much more than inconvenienced a time or two. That's about it. Looking forward to Thursday night.Naw, just kidding. Be a rough go for my girl. 15 years at one school then covid hit. Hopefully treatment goes great! I already have drusen, so I expect md will happen at some point.Unhappy about, anyway.
Good news, bad news. I don’t have macular degeneration (an eye disease.) I do have this, in both eyes:
Vitreomacular Traction Syndrome - The American Society of Retina Specialists
I have an appointment with a Retina Guy on 9/17 to see if I’ll need surgery or what.
In the good-bad-good news department, if they can control this new thing, it will be fixed for good, whereas macular degeneration usually results (after some degree of time) in central vision blindness and can’t be treated. So at least I don’t have to think about that.
What I'm reading is that you weren't killed by a cat in your sleep last night. Abby is 10/10 good girl.I'm mad cuz my dog, Abigail - a bluetick, somehow heard/smelled/sensed a cat walking across the street at 2:30 a.m. and proceeded to let the whole house know about it. She finally calmed down about 15 minutes later but the damage was done. I couldn't get back to sleep...
Oh, she is the BEST girl. It was just weird. Once she crashes for the night, she is usually OUT and it takes noises or something to wake her up. The cat was across the street just walking down the sidewalk lol. What I'm reading is that you weren't killed by a cat in your sleep last night. Abby is 10/10 good girl.![]()
