They bleed just like we do!

When I was a senior in high school, we were playing the first game in program history against a major national power. Outwardly, we were ready to go....inwardly, we had doubt.

The game starts and we go right down and score. They came back down and scored in maybe three plays; basically, something demoralizing. Suddenly that doubt really started to build. We didn't score on the next drive, and like lightning they came down and scored. By the time we got it together, we were down by two touchdowns. We got ourselves back into it but lost by a touchdown. For five minutes, we were in awe of them. In those five minutes, we went from up seven to down twenty-one.

That can't happen tomorrow.

I'm much less worried about that with this staff. Fulmer never had the guys ready out of the gate for the gators, except for 2001 and 2004. He just didn't have the energy or take no prisoners persona to project that on his players.

Kiffin, coach O, Monte... those guys aren't intimidated, I have faith that our guys will be ready to thrown down from the opening kickoff.

I don't think UT will be in awe of Florida. Maybe it's because they play each other every year, maybe it's because the UT coaching staff is publicly gushing about Florida and privately pointing out flaws on tape.
I seriously hope they find the flaws and exploit them. It's not like we're Ole Miss sneaking up on 'em. Of course I will be watching and rooting my ass off for the Vols but you gotta have a bad feeling in the pit of your stomache about this one. I had the same feeling about the '85 Sugar Bowl. :)

But at the same time, you're happy that Kiffin called Meyer a cheater....which is what amped this game and UT's visibility up so effing much.
You know what, all of that calling Urbie a cheater crap is so damn old. It's always seemed like some kind of third grade playground crap ever since the AD and Urbie got butt hurt about it. I'm happy as hell that tomorrow night we don't have to hear that whining bs anymore.

I'm not sure we're going to be so lucky. The media is so enamored with that story it may just stay in rotation for the rest of the season... and will surely be resurrected before next season's florida game.

That being said, a Vol win sure would provide an interesting twist.

They don't bleed like we do. Tebow doesn't bleed at all, his touch cures the Gators wounds. He will turn water into Gatorade at their pregame meal. Don't you know who the Vols are playing tomorrow? Haven't you heard?

Meyer and Tebow are legends in their own mind!!!

i'd love to be in the vols locker room before the game and hear what the coaches have to say.

I agree that it's old. But that's why the media is all over this game. It's the most hyped game of the entire season because of the cheater thing.

All I'm saying is, if you're sick of everything you're hearing in the media...look at LK.

Take the good with the bad.

I understand all of that, I'm just saying I will be glad when it gets back to football instead of whose feelings got hurt by Coach Kiffin's statements. All of the media hype over whining coaches and their ADs ain't about football, it's about selling ad time and being a bit*h.

so even you agree that kiffin is whining like a baby, he is already back peddling his statements about Florida, no wonder raiders fired him, got no guts
Actually we're talking about Meyer and Foley running to Slive and crying like little girls that Kiffin said mean things about Urbie.
