WOO I reckon! Lifted my Orange spirits from Vanderbilt Hospital following heart bypass surgery. Awesome.

I'll be there tomorrow with my dad, who is having a defibrillator and pacemaker put in for his heart. You are definitely in good hands, that place is the best.

I'll say a prayer for your recovery.

You got it TNnative.

You going through that brought back memories of my Dad going through that in 92. And his recovery from it. Since he passed in late 2019, (And how the Hell we got him that far?) I have witnessed how tough the road back can be. Take very good care of yourself moving forward. And live life to the hilt. And do the things that make you happy, whether it be work or fun. And stay away from soft drinks.

For now, look forward to the day taking a deep breath is not a pain in the butt. It will take a few weeks, but it does get better. Slowly.

Thanks! At this very moment I'm sitting in my recliner at HOME. Got a laundry list of "do's & don'ts" plus loving wife who will crack the whip if necessary.

Dang that is good - even if those kids have Italian names and are from Alabuba, I'll allow it! :D

Check out their channel and give them some upvotes! To few left who are still practicing our heritage.

Hope you are feeling full strength soon Feathersax!

Prayers for your Dad & his procedures. Those folks are truly amazing in both the professionalism & caring nature.

Your comment may be jokingly hinting at this fact, but the woman who co-wrote Rocky Top with her husband Boudleaux, Felice Bryant (nee Matilda Genevieve Scaduto), was an Italian-American from Wisconsin.

Thank y'all for the prayers. Feather, glad you made it home. Godspeed in your recovery.

On another note, I sent that video to my kids with some kind fatherly thoughts 🤣

Ha Ha! They gave me one shaped like a heart and made of a scratchy material. For those who don't know, after open heart surgery, coughing hurts worse than a "JG Pick Six". If you hug a pillow, it keeps your giblets from rattling as bad and lowers the pain from a 10 to an 8.5.

Yep, the house of Bryant grafted in, we can say - but they were TN through and through.

Great analogy: hurts worse than a JG pick-6.:D Keeping those giblets quiet is indeed a priority.
