I'm good with Commanders or Defenders.

I'd prefer the Red Hogs over Red Wolves

Mehhhh. I actually like Armada, but as someone else said it sounds like a MLS or WNBA name. Washington Commanders sounds better than Washington Defenders IMO. And I know they'd never drop Washington, but I think DC Defenders would work better for that name.

Red Hogs tie in to the team's history quite well. I would lean toward Red Hogs or Commanders.

And even though it's become popular among some fans, I've never understood the appeal of keeping it WFT. It's too meta, almost gimmicky. Like the sports team version of "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince".

Eh, I'm going to cut some slack for teams that moved. The Jazz started in NO (perfectly suitable name at the time) and the Grizzlies started in Vancouver which makes a lot more sense.

Agreed with this. I live in Memphis, and the Grizzlies are just too entrenched at this point to change it. Multiply that entrenchment by about x10 for the Jazz and x100 for the Lakers even though none of the names make sense.

Meh Red Hogs and Red Wolves sounds too mid major college to me. Defenders would work but they'd have to buy out the XFL name I'd think. Commanders is ok, Brigade would work, Armada....decent.

How about pull a Cleveland and just change a few letters and be the Deadskins. Work in either a zombie mascot or a Grateful Dead tie in.
