The Zone Runs Thread - 2013

I was a fast dude a long, long time ago. Now, at 43 as of next week, I've had too many surgeries and have trouble getting moving after sitting or sleeping. I haven't run even 5 steps since tearing my achilles in '06.

Boom! Just ran a 10k at 10:33 pace. I ran down to a trail near my house and every time I saw a tree limb on the side of the trail I did 5 pull-ups. Bring on the warrior dash.

Happy early birthday! Lol

Okay, Second timed run last night, knocked just over a minute off on the time. Hopefully by race day, I will be happy with just completing the run.

After hanging out in the ladies vol locker room. You should be happy.

9 weeks won't cut it for the Fireball.

Wednesday will be my last 1 mile run, After that I will moving up to 1.5 miles. If I have no setbacks, I will be hitting 3 miles the week before the race. I should be okay.

I run 3 miles on my lifting days of MWF. I run 5 miles on non-lifting days of Tu-Th. However I have a bad habit of skipping Fridays to go have chicken wings and draught beer. It's hard because I pass that pub a mile before I get to the gym and my truck just veers off into that parking lot most Fridays.
