The Zone Edition: Face with screen name thread.

If no one’s got the kid the Kingsford’s off the shower list, I’ll get it. Don’t want em growing up bein a cooking wuzz like his paw paw.

You too young to be bald. That’s gotta be headboard head. You rub all that off on the velvet headboard while getting down on it?

TFG is slick bald

1975 - Me & Julius Erving (Dr J) at the Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis Tn when he played basketball for the New York Nets in the ABA. Memphis Sounds was our team that year. Saw a lot of great players in the ABA that went on to the NBA during Memphis’s time in the ABA 1970 - 1975. Went to more games in 74-75. 74 is when I started driving & 75 I had 6 season tickets – free.
My 10th grade English teacher at Germantown was the JV basketball coach. He gave me passing grades for hooking him up for certain games. It wasn’t many. I know a bargain when its laid in my lap!!

I'm the white guy

I didn't get his autograph that game, just the picture with him. I don't remember how many times I saw him play in Memphis.
More pics of Dr J from that game. I took all the pics & most were taken from the seat of the “free” season tickets I had. Same seats my english teacher cut a deal for.
Pics were taken on a Kodak 110, taken bout 46 years ago, retaken on an iPhone & cleaned up in PSP so please show a little patient with them

How many names did the ABA Memphis have ? I recall the Tams at one time
Memphis Pros – 1970 – 1972
Memphis Tams – 1972 – 1974 - Charles O. Finley Owner of Oakland A’s was owner
Memphis Sounds – 1975 – ABA Commissioner Mike Storen resigned as commissioner to take over team - co-owners Isaac Hayes (Memphis musician) & Kemmons Wilson (founder of Holiday Inn)

None of the teams in any year were good.

I had an entire uniform of the Tams. Just have only the warm up pants now
