Watching NoC now. AJ and Rollins are just excellent at what they do. I didn't get the sense that they had much heat story wise. But the match itself was a clinic.

Rollins missed like two or three weeks leading up to it because he’s in the next Captain America movie. Definitely hurt the build imo

Just as well probably. I doubt they want a long term feud there. I feel like AJ might be gone after this contract and the clock has almost run out on his time at the top of the card. I could see him in AEW/ROH or back in Japan to round out his career. Unless Trips makes retaining him a priority.

I just can't see him retiring next year when his contract is up. Based on how he looked last night, he's got another run in him. I'm not sure WWE is going to be conducive to that.

The high point for me so far was Caster's freestyle "Buddy Matthews looks real ominous while he's getting cucked by a dude named Dominik"

That was one of the better raps he's done in a while.

The tag match was good. As was the battle royal. The rest was rough.

The trios match seems to be going well.

I watched NXT: Battleground..... A good little filler PLE(Hard not saying PPV) No matches that were groundbreaking or blew me away although I did love the finish to the Draganov/Dijak Last Man standing match. Cool ending without spoiling anything. A new Womens champion was crowned after a tournament in a decent match between Stratton and Valkyria. Good main event.

I'd give it a 6.5/10 if I was to rate it.
