Not sure of there is already a WINE thread on here so I thought I'd start one.

Who drinks wine on here and what do you like?

I like Sumner Crest Robertson King and Stonehaus Davenport RED for sweeter red wines.

Stonehaus Muscidine for sweet white wine.

Don't really have a special dry red wine.

Any favorite wineries?

Any favorite types of wine?

Some Boone's Farm strawberry hill or blackberry ridge would be nice! I'm a connoisseur of Fine Wine.

Don't know much about wine. I'll get a bottle maybe once a month, I usually go for a cab sauv or something like that. $10-15 price range, doesn't lead me wrong.

Best wine I've had is an '82 Chateau Margaux. Once in a lifetime experience, and amazing.

Normal weeknight wines are limited to a bunch of Trader Joe's wines; for special occasions, I'll break out the Proprietary Red from Dick Vermeil's winery.

Big Zins are the real deal. St Francis Old Vines is very good, most years.

For Cab, you can't go wrong with Rombauer.

Sweet wine is for teenagers.

Wine is my main drink. Reds almost exclusively in the 12-20 range.

Zins, Cabs, Merlots are the main stays.

Costco is a good place to buy.

Been loving this lately

you ever tried, Prisoner

It's a blend, and really good, of Cab, Zin and Sirah

No Cost CO near me and we have a no liquor law in grocery stores such as Trader Joes in TN--as of now.

This law is changing though I heard.

The zinfandel above...describe its taste so I know of it's something I may like.

Thanks.

Good friends brought a bottle of Prisoner over for steak dinner a while back. Great red. I love a good rich Cab or a Bordeaux-style blend.

It can be hard to find, here in Fayetteviile
I had to order a case of it, for them to bring it in

I'm a big fan of Bordeaux wines and Malbecs. If I'm drinking white, I always have to go with a good Portuguese vinho verde, which usually is about $7 a bottle and probably one of the best whites that I have ever found (especially for the price)
