The whining fans

You play how you practice, and you practice how you are coached.

The staff is paid literal, millions of dollars, to put a product on the field that I'd commensurate to that investment.

It always ends with the coaches.
But we don't draft players we have to recruit them. This is Pruitts 1st year for recruiting. Looks like the team is making improvements to me. O line did much better today didn't they. D line did too. You know I dont think I have heard one slam against the O line today or D line....must have practiced well

We looked better today than we did against Florida, because Florida was one of the worst performances in UT football history. Do we look better than we did in week 1 against WVU? It's debatable, especially on offense.

See WV game today...it appears we were up against a high powered offense. Georgia O line and D line isn't coca puffs either. We have improved and I think the team probably gained some confidence that they can play with anybody. But I will say the Offensive play calling was horrible until today. Even it was some better today. Its still hard for JG to hit players on a fly pattern, ect....and I dont think he wants to keep the ball either because I thought the field was wide open if he had kept the ball a couple of times

So you are the insider who has been on the sidelines watching all Tennessee practices...hum
Then of course JP has been here less than a year and hasn't really pulled any of his recruits yet and somehow he has Sabans talent or Urbies...

Aparently you drank as much as me because that made no sense whatsoever
I've never been on Tennessee sidelines but do know what creates solid execution

Funny when the team starts.executing and performing everyone will credit pruitts coaching...

You are wrong. But opinion is noted. Tell me how Popes play was on coaches. Or the onsides kick fail. Or the dropped passes. Or the sacks. Why is it that some just dont want to blame players for their mistakes?

Uhmm I dont mean to plagiarize but

you play how you practice and you practice how you are coached.

I can type slower if you think that will help...

Wrong again.
Such an odd position for you to be so adement about. You can keep telling people they are wrong if it makes you feel better. The head coach is ultimately responsible for the team.

A team that executes well is said to be well.coached, regardless of talent level. Much the same, a team that doesnt execute is said to be poorly coached.
If this team is.successful in the future it will be credited to pruitts coaching ability. If it doesnt, he wont be coach long. Pretty simple concept, not sure why you insist it is incorrect, but hey whatever makes you feel better.

Weird im watching sports center and all these head coaches keep saying they are ultimately responsible for everything.
Only at Tennessee is the coach not responsible.

Judging by our record and performance I think we are doing it wrong. Well one fan is.

How about WVU's defense? Cause Texas Tech was able to put up 463 yards and 34 points on them today. Texas Tech's recruiting averages somewhere in the mid to low 40s nationally. UT managed what, 300 yards and 14 points, with recruiting classes averaging ~14 nationally.

You don't believe that coaching and scheme can overcome lack of talent in some situations?

Yeah just you...we get it. Heck why pay a head.coach. Just hire an oc/dc to show the kids the plays and have them go out and execute on their own, save a bunch of money with all these coaches you dont need

So why would I give the coach all the credit when we play well? Are they the ones executing? No they arent. Heck lets use your analogy. Why try and recruit top ranked players? I mean Saban obviously just recruits 2* guys and coaches them up to be 5* right? Why doesnt KSU compete for championships every year?

The big difference between us is I think players are accountable. You dont. If we start playing better and executing, of course the coaches get credit. But so do the players. The opposite is true when you play poorly. Again, you just fail to understand the simpleness of this.

Yet you hear a bunch of different analysts and former VFLs say that we dont have good players. Hmmm...

Players are accountable for their individual performances, head coach is responsible for the whole teams performance. We went through this last week, guess we can do it.every week. Sure it's a shared responsibility, but ultimate responsibility rest with the head coach. If the team fails to execute at a high level over the next 3-4 years, pruitt will no longer be the coach here. If they do, pruitt will be considered a good coach. Pretty simple concept, not sure why its so difficulty for you, but to each his own.

Whatever then. You can give most of the credit to the coaches. I will give the credit to both coaches and the players.

Doesnt matter, sure we dont have cfp caliber players but we have d1 players than should be able to execute simple plays with some effectiveness. Such as duke, not alot of talent, but very well coached and execute simple plays, usually a solid team but not world betters, endless examples of this....app st, south alabama, ....its not very hard to spot a well coached team regardless of talent level.

This... Stop making excuses for the coaches.

They did it for Dooley. They did it for Butch.. They are doing it now...

Effing expect better! They should at least be able to be competitive.

Chip Kelly and Scott Frost are good coaches. Hmm..., I wonder if they just dont have the players?

Cool bro, you are literally the only person that doesnt believe the coach is ultimately responsible. But then again, you also started a thread to prove that 2 qbs that struggle to throw over 200 yards are considered special so....

Can wait to see nebraska and ucla fire all those players.
