Yeah, deadlifts with light weight is awesome....also back extensions. Get that christmas tree cut in the small of your back. Just cause you can go heavy doesn't mean you should. The most I usually do is 185
I don't really do abs. It's more of a diet thing for me. I do the roman twists for my obliques/serratus and that makes a world of difference. It's also an easy thing to add to your routine. They're easy.
