The Weightlifters Thread

Another question, I was running 100 yard sprints, and my left hip popped? Don't know what happened, it just popped, and it's sore and hurts to move. I can walk on it, I just need to be ready Wednesday, for a speed class.

This happened to me my junior year.. my hip was broken, doc said had the muscle not been so strong it would have been a pulled muscle but instead it pulled the bone and broke it. Could or could not be the same but the pain was horrid!

I have been working out for about 5 years on a regular basis... Don't have a strict diet just try to eat fairly healthy no fried foods or cokes and I allow myself three meals a week to eat what I want.....

My favorite workouts are the 4,3,2,1 and 4x8.... the hardest work out I have done was the 6 sets of 6 reps in 6 minutes it worked really well but I needed a workout that wasn't as time consuming since I try and do 2 body parts a day and escape the D bags at my gym as quickly as possible..

Taking a break at the moment. Trying to get transitioned into new work, midterms at school, been a bit sick on and off for the last week. Haven't been eating much.

I can see myself getting smaller already. Sucks.

I'm not a very muscular dude but even after 2 days of bein sick it makes me feel like I have lost what little muscle I had gained....

I'm opposite of that... Meso endomorph. Thicker but athletic frame, I have very little difficulty gaining muscle mass but also find it fairly hard to cut. However I've gotten down to a 32/33" waist with pretty intense dieting before.

Has anyone heard of muscle marinade? Used it?

I've not tried it personally but some guys at the gym take it and love it. It's really heavy on the stimulate side so it could bother you if you're sensitive.

I'm a mix of ecto and mesomorph.

I was given a sample and loved it, but was just curious about continued results. I deveoped a tolerance to Jacked pretty quickly.

What are some good upper chest exercises to go along with Incline press??? also does anybody know of a good EE creatine to take???

Cell mass all day.

And dumbbell bench, flys and dips are all you need for chest.

Thanks...I have heard of cell mass but haven't ever heard anything about it from somebody that had taken it.... Right now I take ON protein, a NO booster, and a multi vitamin and was wanting to start back taking creatine....

Is there a big difference between Magnesium Creatine and Ethyll Ester??

And do yall have a preference of one type or creatine over another??

CreaPure is regarded by pros as the cream of the crop. It's a monohydrate made in Germany and is found in several good products.
Krealkalyn is also really popular to add to a post workout meal or supplement.
I've read good reviews of ConCrete but I've never tried it.
I don't lift heavy so I just take whatever comes in my preworkout supp.

This is correct, most Nitric/whatever preworkout supps are typically "cocktails" with enough creatine in them for the needs of most lifters.

Green Mag is the only creatine product I've used. Gave me great results, zero bloating, good reviews, and is relatively cheap. You can find 80 servings for under 40 bucks.

I actually have been reading about it since you mentioned earlier and everybody said it gave great results, had no bloating, and tasted great... So I decided to give it a try and I found 40 servings for about 27 bucks...Thanks for the heads up on it

Alright I've been lazy enough since moving and starting my new job. I just got the keys to the field house and will be hitting the weights hard. I think I will do it a few weeks hard and then do GOMAD for a month. That will put me up to around 185-190

Know what sucks?

Take preworkout nitric, getting to the gym and finding out you have to re-up and don't have the money with you then and there.

I'm all itchy now.
