The Walking Dead

This show can show people getting torn limb from limb, zombies being killed, a guy getting his head cut off, killing kids, and an attempted rape but god forbid the actors can drop F bombs.

Didnt you know that sex (the thing we have to do to procreate) and dirty words are more dangerous than violence?

Season 4 was pretty dark. If you disagree, just think back.

* The Governor cut off Herschel's head.
* The little girl in TG's camp was bitten and killed by a mud walker.
* Two members of the Woodbury/prison camp were killed and burned by Carol.
* The Woodbury/Prison camp was attacked and many wer killed by walkers inside the prison.
* Carol killed Lizzie with a gunshot to the head after Lizzie killed Mika.
* Michonne cut off the arms and jaws of walkers to be her escorts through the rush of walkers.
* Carl is raped by one of the hunters.
* Rick disembowels the hunter who raped Carl and then stabbed him repeatedly.
* Rick claimed Joe'sjugular in a way that would make Dracula envious.
* Now we know that we have cannibals inhabiting Terminus.

This was some dark subject matter that few if any TV series would ever try to use in their story lines.

Whoa. whoa, whoa.. Carl WAS NOT actually raped. It was implied he was going to be.

Plus on a lot of regular cable shows like The Americans they actually show a lot nudity and sex now, but watch your words!

It was implied that he did rape Carl. They were not going to show actual pentration.

You could see the guy humping Carl and Carl wincing in pain.

I dont think it got that far. He may have been trying to go there but It was way too quick for him to have been raped. There would have been more fall out from that.

I found this interesting. It doesnt really confirm it, but it does sound like Morgan. And IMDB has Morgan credited for an appearance in 2014.

IDK I guess it sounds kinda like Morgan but I think that's stretching it.

Lennie James IMDB page is conveniently fixed now. He was in no way in this episode.

Somebody was screwing around with people.

Not everybody watches The Talking Dead, but Beth was in fact in that episode though because the flashback scenes in the finale were the last scenes shot for the season. Beth was included(in the flashbacks) and they brought Patrick, and Hershel back on set to film those scenes.

I wondered if they film all of it in order or if they shot that we saw Sunday last year when Herschel was still in the show. Same with Patrick. They were already doing prison shots for the first few episodes.

Do they really leave the prison alone for 8 episodes, then come back at the end of shooting and call back two characters that were killed earlier in the season for a couple minutes footage?

You'd be surprised how much actual time is spent shooting say a 1 minute scene in a tv show. Rarely are scenes shot in one take. It goes by fast for us as viewers when we're watching but they might spend 5 hours to an entire day doing one scene.

On the talking dead they said the flashbacks were the last thing filmed for the season because. It was also the last time the entire cast was on set together.

It was confirmed on the talking dead by the shows writer that Herschel (the actor lol) was told to go home but not shave or cut his hair and then he came back to film the flash backs.

It's already been answered, but on The Talking Dead they said the flashbacks were the last scenes filmed of the season. Andrew Lincoln talked about how he showed up to set and from a distance saw Scott Wilson (Hershel) smoking a cigar and had a green sock on for his missing leg.

Also I think the prison set was used for other scenes as well. For example, I'm pretty sure they were saying they built the set for the train tunnel at the same place.

It sounds like him kinda, but I'm not buying it. Morgan was flipping out the last time we saw him and seemed to have accepted his fate. I know he can change and all but I have a hard time believing the Morgan we saw before is now screaming for help like that in a train car.

If he is in one of the cars, I picture him more kind of sitting in the corner in a trance more than freaking out.

well the best episode of the season was the last one. Completely redeemed the season for me. I'm actually excited for season 5 now.

Yea, I finally got around to watching The Talking Dead today.

I knew it takes them a while to shoot just a few minutes of footage. I just didn't know if they shot everything fluid or if they might shoot a couple extra scenes for other episodes if they had the opportunity.
