The Walking Dead

Nicholas was hallucinating, saw what would happen to them both if he shot himself with the bullet he doesn't have, thanked Glen for snapping him back to reality, Enid shouts "up here!", Glen fires the flare gun, they get to the staircase and Enid locks them all in with the 2 billion keys she has. That's my theory.

You guys are over thinking this. It's the Walking Dead, not the Godfather. Glenn is alive. We all like Glenn. Who cares about realism in a show about a freaking zombie apocalypse.

3 things. Up where? What staircase? It's been 2 days, in this theory he would have fired the flare gun already and the group would have seen it.

nobody is over thinking anything, nor is anybody expecting the Godfather.

and to the bold, I do. just cause it's set in a zombie apocalypse, doesn't mean everything else is completely topsy-turvy, physics-defying, impossible nonsense.

maybe if this show didn't take itself so seriously trying to be some great drama, I could look past some of its flaws, but that's not the case. it's usually just mediocre and/or lazy writing/direction.

With the Negan character verified, my theory is that Walker Glenn shows up in the last episode and Negan Lucille's him in front of the others...different take on the comics (never read them) :eek:hmy:

I am entertained by the show...

Quit watching a lot of medical shows because they didn't keep the scince real or believable. That really bugged me.

Luckily, don't have to deal with that with this show...what does bother me is the novice level mistakes that the battle hardened survivors have msde in the last 2 seasons. If the writers would just fix that, then altering physics and surviving an impossible situation is okay by me.

:hi:

2 days? It's only been about 8 hours.

There was a fire escape staircase in the alleyway.

As for a flair, I didn't think he had one. He said the they would see the smoke from the fire he went to light.

You are right, for some reason I was thinking it was dark when Morgan was talking to the one guy he is trying to save. Either way in that theory he would have been safe and building a fire or whatever by now. Wouldn't you think?

There are also 200 walkers in the alleyway. I'll be honest, any "Glenn is saved" scenario is going to annoy me a lot. I can't think of a way he lives that won't be dumb.

those sewer walkers were sweet as hell honestly. best part of the episode.

Small rant but I kinda have a problem with a few of these Walkers we have seen this season like these, that are basically walking skeletons at what point has enough of the brain rotted away that the Walkers die?

Because a few of these at least to me seem a bit for fetched that enough organic material is left for them to still be moving (alive)!

“I’ll give you an absolute because I’ve been dealing with a lot of ambiguity in storytelling here in protecting the story: Rick’s hand is safe,” Gimple told The Hollywood Reporter. “You can proclaim it from the mountaintops: His hand is safe! He will be wrapping it. There will be some ointments involved.”

"You know, I campaigned two seasons ago when the Governor was around... I was saying, 'You've gotta do the hand guys!' And Victor, who was in charge of special effects, just said, 'No, no no no. Anybody else but not you. It'll cost a fortune with green screen and blue screen,'" Andrew Lincoln told ComicBook.com.

'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Rick Is Definitely NOT Losing A Hand This Season

I've been thinking here... There is very little point in going through all of this with Glenn if he's really dead. They've never teased a major death like this before, they've just killed the character and that was it -see Herschel and Beth. On another note, why go through all this drama only to have Glenn survive to
be later killed by Negan? Does the Negan character still work within the story if he doesn't kill Glenn?

after the last episode, i was sure Rick's hand was fine, since they never even brought it up at all lol

as to your spoiler

Negan's character can still work without Glenn. Honestly, the way this show has handled some of the main deaths, I really wasn't expecting it'd be Glenn to get Lucille anyway. I think someone else might end up getting that honor

Well to your spoiler I'll say this:

They can still do it by switching out another character (i.e. Carol or Daryl gets Lucille'd). They did it with Tyreese. He was not the one who got beheaded by the Governor (like in the comics) but they had him survive that only to die in a much lamer way later.

I do agree about the teasing part, though they did it with Sophie (though she wasn't a major character).

One of my least favorite episodes this season; the Morgan back story was much better than this. Unless the writers have a wild card to play, they've total backed into a no win regarding the plight of Glen.

Agreed on the episode.

If Glenn winds up being alive we should wait to see how the writers/producers explain the escape.

Someone in this thread mentioned it before and I remember seeing it again when watching the alleged death scene a second time, the blocked staircase leading up to the second floor of that building. I wonder if someone comes out of there. They typically don't show those types of things unless they mean something. It could end up being nothing though.

Also...if they just casted JDM as Negan we probably won't see him til next february.

He's supposed to appear in this season's finale.

So not til the end of spring next year.

regarding yalls posts

supposedly from what I've heard, Negan will indeed make his appearance in the season finale next april. so we still got awhile before we get to see that son of a gun. hopefully the season ends the way i think/hope it will...

Should be a lot of action in tonight's episode.
Sasha and Abraham will get lots of Walker opportunities...

Looks like Daryl gets caught by a new group.

Will we find out where the blood trickling down the wall is coming from?

Does Alexandria only have the one gate?
