The VN Recipe Thread

You'll have fun with omelets. Fried taters, sliced mater and omelet is a meal. All done in quick time.
 
I envy y'all when maters come in next year. Grainger County Tomatoes ftw. Can't get them here. Can't get Vidalia onions after October either. Utah does grow a pretty good sweet yellow onion, though.
 
Probably at your local Wal Mart. Wal Mart buys up a lot of them to put in the stores. If you've never had one, you are in for a treat.
 
Smoked Salmon Canape is my favorite Omelette creation. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, capers and diced cucumbers. Lay it on top of a couple of nice tomato slices and finish it with a lemon grass burre blanc.

If you have the ingredients, it's easier than it might sound.
 
I use 3-4 eggs and mix in water instead of milk. Then add all kinds of stuff!
