Sly, does this mean we can't have anymore thrilling conversations about number pads anymore? :cray:

We shall go on to more important observations. Perhaps a discussion as to why the wrapping on dynamite is colored red.

 Good one, I would assume because the color red is associated with danger or a warning. It is also a bright and easily noticeable colour that stands out.

The colour red can indicate a variety of things such as passion, rage, warning, blood, sacrifice, etc. The colour red was chosen for the American flag to symbolize sacrifice and courage. Therefore it isn't much of a stretch to assume the colour's meaning is the same as back then.

There is no documented reason for the choosing of those colors for the flag. Probably what ol' Betty had laying around. It was said that Washington choose red due to the Brit colors, but now written down anywhere.

The details are sketchy at best, in fact there is doubt that Betsy Ross even designed the flag. In fact, another lesser known tale states that Rebecca Young designed it. So, who knows for certain :dunno:

Why do some people slow down to almost a stop when they are turning onto another street? Do they have an aquarium set up on the dash or something?
