Most recently...

This morning I called Sprint about my modem. They said a newer model was available at no cost to me and I could pick it up at the local Sprint store. It's 10 minutes away and they said they would have it ready, just come in and sign for it.

I take Behr with me. I find a parking place right in front of the front door, crack all four windows of the truck and leave it running with the ac on. I'm in there no more than 5 freakin minutes. When I come out, two ladies are standing next to my truck, one on the cell phone calling animal control to report a dog being left in closed vehicle.

I have been in several similar situations before and I understand peoples concern, but come on.

Wait...the AC was on? If the car's running surely they know the owner will be back soon. How silly. Use common sense people! What did you do?

Truck running (has duel exhaust and rumbles) AC was on High AND all four windows were cracked about 3 inches each.

I take Behr with me almost everywhere I go if I know I'm not going to be inside more than 10 minutes, and always leave the truck running with ac on. If I'm making more than two or three stops, I take a bottle of water (I keep a bowl in the floor always).

Some people are just that way.

Normally I just thank them for their concern and go about my business, but sometimes, like this morning, I'm a smartass. I told them he was in training for a dog fight this weekend and the animal control center was in on it so she just wasted minutes on her cell plan....and left.

By the way. They wrote down my plate number. Don't know if they called it in or not, but I hope they did. Wait until someone shows up to "Behr's house" and sees how bad he has it!

Hahaha. What's f'ed up is.....if either one of them had been "hott", this "rant" would have been in a different thread. Maybe a thread of it's own.

And smowkee, this is why I wouldn't do well on "Dating in the Dark". :)

Hmmm, So it's ok to get reported to animal control if it is by a hot chick? I wonder how Behr feels about that? :p
