Most recently...

This morning I called Sprint about my modem. They said a newer model was available at no cost to me and I could pick it up at the local Sprint store. It's 10 minutes away and they said they would have it ready, just come in and sign for it.

I take Behr with me. I find a parking place right in front of the front door, crack all four windows of the truck and leave it running with the ac on. I'm in there no more than 5 freakin minutes. When I come out, two ladies are standing next to my truck, one on the cell phone calling animal control to report a dog being left in closed vehicle.

I have been in several similar situations before and I understand peoples concern, but come on.

I feel your pain. It is frustrating. I have a neighbor that is the same way. We used to breed cocker spaniels. One morning the pups turned over their water bowl. Before my wife came home for lunch, the neighbor came over and gave them water. Nice. Then called animal control. WTH??? She was afraid they would die of thirst if they didnt have water for two hours. I thanked her for her giving the pups water and politely told her if she ever set foot on my property again, I'd have her arrested for trespassing.

Willard water Put this special water on full strength if your poison ivy is weeping, or follow the dilution directions for normal cases. The itching should stop immediately, healing will begin and you will notice improvement within a few hours. Willard water, a specially treated water, may be obtained at a health food store.

Benadryl and vinegar. Regardless of where the rash is located and if its covered at night, wash your sheets every two nights.

Funny story, RV and I and a few other couples went camping on an island at Cherokee Lake in TN years ago. So going all out, me and the boys go a few days early to prep the campsite. Clear vines, mow weeds and get it nice for the girls. Well, drinking beer and clearing weeds and vines, you eventually have to pee. Well it happened to me and didn't realize some of those vines were poison oak and yes I got it on my junk. Painful as heck.:lolabove::eek:lol:

I guess it's a good thing that he realized he had poison oak while spooning instead of forking. :)

I've got poison oak. Anyone have any advice on how to treat this mess?

Itch it a lot, the more the better! Don't take a shower until it is fully gone away!!! Oh and if the are places that dont itch! Itch there too!! Should be gone in about 3 months> You should expect some minimal scarring, nothing really really bad!
