That’s disturbing but not surprising.
I mean while New York is paying tribute to IslamoCommunism the people of Iran and Venezuela are praying for FREEDOM.
Hopefully the world is healing and NYC wakes up too.
He’s mostly upset because one of his ilk were just removed. Capitalism, in his eyes, cannot succeed. But watch how this rich country rebounds

So did people in every other country where we knocked off their leader. The first few days are exciting but reality hits quick
Once they get that "democracy" run by our intel agencies we'll have another country that hates our guts even worse than before.

Trump coming out saying we're going to "run" Venezuela until a "proper transition" has happened is terrifying.

My company used to have a manufacturing plant in Venezuela. It was sold to a local company and I am not sure if it is still operational because I had to help it out sometime with sourcing of parts that are uniquely made internally at some of our facilities in Japan and Costa Rica.

If Venezuela gets stable, I am wondering if we will reacquire this plant. (We also used to have plants in Russia pre-Ukraine as well).

I saw a report that lot of investment money from Wall Street has been standing by in the event Maduro fell. That’s why I think this “running Venezuela” business isn’t gonna drawn out.

If these hedge fund folks and businesses invest, that means security.

Interesting. My company is not a USA owned company but I think there could be a lot of investment in Venezuela. From what I understand, prior to Maduro, Venezuela economy was in the top 20 globally. The Nation definitely has potential. From what I heard, 1/3 of their population are diaspora and I even know Venezuelans that work directly with my company and live in USA now.

You mean you aren't worried that the entire factory is coated in a layer of fentanyl?

The economy under Chavez?

Absolutely, maybe all of them. Literally, you would have a good portion of the population here would be celebrating if a country invaded and took Trump. Luther would have a party and say how much better he is.

All this, we are coming to save you nonsense has been nonsense since Vietnam.
I agree with the we’re coming to save you crap. Not our business. Kick the hell out of whoever is misbehaving, announce we are going home and it is up to the natives to make things better. Screw it up again and we’ll be back.

Highlighted all that needs to be said. Lol.

Comparing Venezuelans to Afghans or Somalis is asinine. Completely different people.

Still broken countries. You think any new leader of Venezuela will be allowed to say "Venezuelan oil belongs to the Venezuelan people"?

If this goes south where do their refugees end up?

I keep seeing some of our liberal friends here talking about a Venezuela Civil War. Do they have different factions in the country?

Unlike the middle east countries they don't have shia/sunni tribes etc...

Venezuela's Maduro was a brutal socialist dictator. He supported Hamas. He backed Hezbollah. He was an ally of the Islamic regime in Iran.

It’s not going south no matter how much you are desirous of it doing so.
