No. I’m banking on that not happening because an overwhelming amount of the country wanted Maduro out and normalized relations with the USA. And there has been enough in roads made with the USA from central and South American countries to assist.
This isn’t Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan where we are acting from afar. This is in our backyard.
Anyone saying this is just the Middle East 2.0 is playing politics, uneducated, or has bias against the admin in power conducting it.
Do i think we are capable of messing this up? Of course. Do I think Trump is gonna go about this like the Bush, Obama, Biden doctrines did in foreign policy? No
Wanting Maduro gone =/= wanting to be ruled by a Trump-approved plant.
Every single time you guys conflate wanting to be rid of a dictator with wanting to have a US-business-friendly leader installed in their place.
What happens when they elect someone we don't like, who tells us to GTFO, and tells Exxon Mobil that any deal done with the US administrative authority is null and void?
