No. I’m banking on that not happening because an overwhelming amount of the country wanted Maduro out and normalized relations with the USA. And there has been enough in roads made with the USA from central and South American countries to assist.

This isn’t Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan where we are acting from afar. This is in our backyard.

Anyone saying this is just the Middle East 2.0 is playing politics, uneducated, or has bias against the admin in power conducting it.

Do i think we are capable of messing this up? Of course. Do I think Trump is gonna go about this like the Bush, Obama, Biden doctrines did in foreign policy? No

Wanting Maduro gone =/= wanting to be ruled by a Trump-approved plant.

Every single time you guys conflate wanting to be rid of a dictator with wanting to have a US-business-friendly leader installed in their place.

What happens when they elect someone we don't like, who tells us to GTFO, and tells Exxon Mobil that any deal done with the US administrative authority is null and void?

Ah yes. Because whoever the US is cool with is obviously a “plant”…. Venezuelan people won’t have a choice because of orange man.

“You guys”…. You literally know nothing of my leanings. 😂😂😂😂

Says they will run the country. Meaning Trumps rich cronies including oil companies, come in and profit from Venezuela's oil revenue, further induce poverty
of the populace, usurp the society, and victimize young girls. Further divert attention from the Epstein files, that's what this is all about.
CNN is reporting that Maduro had the pee pee tapes from Russia........

There remains a difference between being proud of how well this was done, and whether it was a good idea in the first place. The predictable battle lines around that distinction are drawn here. Those bragging about it support Trump. Those wondering aloud how its going to play out, don't.

I’m bragging about it but do not love/like Trump by any means.

I do push back people calling the map in our backyard the same as the Middle East where our partners were also not from the region.

We went into Iraq, took out their dictator, blew sh!t to smithereens, and tried to rebuild without a plan in a region where we didn't have partners.

In this case, we will have plenty to region partners who benefit from a Venezuela on the uppity up

I disagree. The simple answer is to hold another election. Cuba is running Venezuela right now. We can't allow the security apparatus to rape the country.

Well Iran is watching this I’m sure.
We helped 28 million foreign oppressed people that were illegal. At least this helps them stay in a non hostile environment and not illegal migrate here.
It's far from clear what the situation in Venezuela will be in a month, a year, and farther out. Things may or may not be 'non-hostile'. There are a lot of scores to settle there.

Very true, I hope for the best for the citizens of Venezuela. We made the first step to secure their freedom; now it's our responsibility to ensure it lasts.
