At least the orange on the Nike jerseys was consistent. I swear there were 3 different shades of orange each week with adidas. Undershirts were different from helmet which were different from jersey numbers. The orange looked really good against the 2 shades of grey we used on tbe Nikes. I thought it was drastically different without being distracting like Oregons jerseys.

thank you, you are proving my point. Tennessee partnered with Nike worked together on this uniform. Tennessee wants to get the attention of the talented young recruits. I'm not trying to get into your conspiracy theory about nike taking over, this is about nike helping us recruit. its ok to take the tin foil hat off once in a while.

YES NIKE IS ABOUT MONEY. MOVE ON FROM THAT POINT. what part of this are you not getting.
nike wants to make money. we want to have uniforms that pop and catch the recruits and players eyes. so we will let nike make money off us because we are getting recruits off of the uniforms nike made for us. so leave the nike wants to make lots of money part out of this as we know this, no one brought it up except you.

Quoted your post. In it, you said Nike is trying to get us more attention from HS kids. You opened the can of worms as to what you think Nike is trying to do. Not I. So, fact is, you brought it up first as to what Nike is trying to do.

yes they are trying to get US (Tennessee) attention. that's exactly what I was trying to say, because that's what UT wants from Nike. I was making no point as to Nike's taking over the world like you're slanging around.... good grief :crazy:

I didn't like them. I'm not a purist by any means either, i just thought they were ugly. Our new orange's are so ******n good looking that i don't want them to wear anything else.

Orange shirts
White Pants
White/Orange shoes.

I loved the uniforms and the helmets with the Smokey Mountain range on them. Most of all, I believe this is the first win in these uniforms which makes it even better.

They looked great...and there was plenty of smoke (fog) on the mountains coming across them down from Kentucky that it felt appropriate...

Your gators have been wearing those "Clemson" unis since the 1980's when Emmit Smith and others were there. That certainly predates this current time when these designer unis have been the craze.

Clemson Uniforms?? How long you been a Gator fan?? Must have been a Spurrier or Meyer "Gator" because those uniforms have been around a long long time. Study history much?Spurrier did not like that color scheme so he dropped the uniforms. Then Meyer brought them back for a game and TOG brought them back for a few games. Not sure what Mac sees in them but as long as they are winning carry on.

And IMO I thought the UT unis were nice.
