You're the first person I've seen say they like the Adidas gray unis better.

They just look way better IMO. The gray just went with the Orange nicely. I do like the Nike Home and Away Unis better however.

Worst looking uniforms that I have ever seen Tennessee wear in over 50 years of watching. I don't like any of the gray , but the adidas version was so much better. Last nigh they looked like circus clowns.

Awesome. I'm surprised theres not more talk about the Tennessee uniforms. I thought the black and gray went really well with Tennessee orange. Not to mention that was the first time Tennessee has not worn the tradition white helmet, in quite some time.

Who else liked the uniforms? If not, why didn't you like them? Do you have any alternate uniform colors in mind?

I liked the Smokey Grey not sure where the Black was on the uniforms. But, maybe I missed something.

Agree. I thought they were hideous. We are Orange & White. Keep the ugly uni's for teams like Oregon and Maryland. Gray is nothing more than a crash grab by Nike.

I think the uniforms are God awful ugly.

I know I am THAT GUY, but I hate the fact that shoe companies and 16 year old potential recruits and 19 year old players are determining what uniforms these schools wear.

I've had to endure Florida's Clemson uniform this year and I can't stand it. At least, it's one of the school colors.

The "Smokey Greys" are terrible.

Those 19 year olds are the ones who wear them tho. They looked fantastic and we looked scary.

The Adidas versions. Come on. Those were stock uniforms that were similar to others jerseys all over the country.

These were made specifically for The University of Tennessee. We got the special treatment. Smokey Mountains on the helmet for goodness sakes. So fresh.

We made Georgia look like dweebs.

Had to have the matching helmet. It made all the difference to me. I was really kinda surprised how much I liked them. It is all in how they are done, and I think Nike did a good job. Would love to see black and orange for Halloween, but again you would have to have a black helmet to go with it. The white helmet with the black jersey for the Halloween game v SC just didn't match well IMO.

There was one caller into one of the post game shows who kept railing on how that wasn't "Tennessee orange." I was laughing. Orange has different shades. As long as it is orange, but not a Texas "burnt orange" which I really consider a red.

Loved the helmets along with the uniform. I want a replica for my UT room or office at work.

I thought they looked good but white pants would give them a little POP

And Thank God they were'nt going crazy with the PINK everywhere like the NFL. They just wore discreet pink stickers on the back of their helmets. Do we really need to see football players wearing pink for an ENTIRE MONTH! Very annoying and just more of the gender-bending agenda going on.

The uniform craze is all about attracting the attention of the ADD young generation and get them to associate your school as the coolest one to play for.
