The Trump administration levied additional sanctions Thursday on Russia for human rights abuses and illegal economic activity in Crimea, just days before President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin head to Paris for a gathering of world leaders.



The move is another example of the Trump administration's willingness to at times be tougher on Russia than the president's rhetoric suggests. Trump has repeatedly expressed admiration for Putin, even as Congress passed a bill last year to punish Russia for its involvement in the 2016 election and its invasion of Crimea.

What were the sanctions? Against specific people, right?

Hardly meaningful and the effects easily defeated.

He is a businessman and businessmen only know one to do business, relationships. 75% of all business is based on personal relationships between the top executives. Dems think relationships mean collusion because that is how they do business and look at Trump as just another politician. He thinks he is running a large corporation.

I said then and I say now, give me 1 good reason to sell Uranium to the Russians. I don't care about what actually happened or want to debate the details of that. Just make up a good reason to sell uranium to the Russians?

Dims have a hard time understanding the President is a businessman and not a community organizer and what entails being a business man.
