Morning OS. 12 was a roller coaster year for sure, however I am not a negative nancy and say that the whole year sucked. I learned a lot of tough lessons in 12 that will make 13 even better.

Excellent way to look at things. Kind of the way I look at it. There were some trying parts of 2012 but I have to learn from them and move on. Cannot dwell on the bad.

At this time of the year, when there are roadblocks and police are doing random checks for drunk drivers, I would like to share a personal experience about drinking and driving.
As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the law on our way home from an occasional social event over the years. A few nights ago, I was out for an evening with some friends and had a couple of cocktails (too many) and some rather nice red wine.
Knowing full well I was over the legal limit, I did something I've never done before ~ I took a cab home. Sure enough, I passed a police road block but, since it was a cab, they waved it right on by. I arrived home safely without incident, which was not only a blessing but a real surprise. I had never driven a cab before and not sure just where I got it or what to do with it now that it's in my garage.

Not too bad. Getting some stuff closed out for the end of the year reports. Getting some marketing stuff done for next week. Ready to get out of town for the evening and party like its the end of 2012.

No shenanigans for this guy. I may grab a six pack of Hop Czar or Sweetwater IPA after little man goes to bed but thats about it. I should put work on notice that I will probably make a fashionably late entrance tomorrow.

SIL and BIL kept my son Saturday night and we had a small party at the house for one of my friends that was in town from Texas. Had a good time but didn't drink too much.
